[OOC: Just note due to location, Vizards only.]
The young vizard crouched on the broken floor, her feet bent slightly as her finger tips pressed against the floor. Her brown eyes staring down at the floor below, the empty, grey, floor. A small snarl formed on her lips, her fang poking out. Every one was off doing their own thing, and while she didn’t care for the world of the living it would have been nice if some one had asked her to go with them. Of course she would have declined, she had no business with the humans. But no one ever asked ‘Hey Hiyori, want to go out?’ likely because if she ever did she would rip something’s head off. So she was left in the warehouse, waiting for anything to happen. She straightened up and jumped down, landing heavier than she intended. She glanced around and walked over to one of the grubby windows. She grabbed the ledge and pulled herself up to see out of it. She peeked out, not a soul in sight. She huffed and dropped down, kicking a rock.
Nothing exciting ever happened, the others suggested training but the blond was getting sick of training. She could only do so much training before she went insane. Why try? They wouldn’t get their chance for ages anyways. And outside of the odd hollow nothing ever wandered to close. And any hollow stupid enough to come here she was crush it easily, and teach the damn thing not to acquire a taste for vizards. She walked to the center of the building and sat down, her legs spread into a ‘v’ shape. “I’m bored.” She spoke loudly, she didn’t care who heard, or if any body heard. She wouldn’t throw a tantrum like Mashiro, but when Hiyori got mad she was the worst person to be around. She heard scurrying as a rat scampered by. She huffed and glared at it holding her hand out. “Bakudo one, sai.” She grabbed the bound rat and glared at it.
It uttered a small squeal before she broke the kido and tossed it along the floor. She was too bored for even that. “Raaaaaagh!” She threw herself backwards and slammed into the ground, staring through the roof through the many broken levels. The ceiling was boring, just like everything else. Why couldn’t the damn place have some spark of interest? Or at least something to do. She sat up, and looked around. She saw the training dummy, how tempting it was to slice it up. She was already almost deadly in hand-to-hand combat, she didn’t need to practice that. There were several people who knew all to well the power behind her punches. Thanks to the hollowification her already speedy reflexes were beyond belief. She was confident that training was just a waste of her time. And if she sliced it to shreds no one else could train. What a pain.
She found her mind idly wondering when Shinji would be back. She didn’t respect him exactly, in fact not even when their ranks mattered had she shown him any sign of respect. But he was good to release her aggression on. No matter how many times she punched him, kicked him or just plain beat him he always just seemed to lay back and let her. She never understood why but it made the former captain an easy target. Though he seemed to be the only victim of her physical abuse, almost every one suffered her verbal beatings. There didn’t seem to be any one on her good side, though some didn’t get it nearly as bad.

Shinji had walked almost casually down the streets, keeping himself a (hopefully) low profile with that brown trench coat, black shirt, and black jeans. He gave his tie a small tug as he had just now reached the warehouse. Not seeming at all nervous, he walked over to the door-- not having to really touch it fore the door just basically swept open. Maybe he was just magic like that. He smiled to himself. A long, broad, and borderline creepy smile. Shinji then took it in himself, without even thinking about who could POSSIBLY be in the warehouse in such a time, to walk in without a single worry. He had his hands in his coat's pockets, that smile still on his face and the like.
I'm bored.
The smile drooped a bit.
Actually, it drooped far more than a bit.
A lot more than just a bit.
To be honest, though, the words amused him. At least something about Hiyori still amused him. To him, the girl almost always seemed to be looking for something else to do. She always seemed to be active-- but when she wasn't... That meant she was bored. And when Hiyori was bored, that could also mean she was angry. And when she was angry, Shinji always seemed to be the very unlucky victim lucky winner around. Some call it bad luck, some call it bad timing. Shinji, on the other hand, calls it life hating him. Maybe a little bit of bad luck, too. Despite that, Shinji had to admit... He cared for Hiyori. He just didn't want to make his feelings public. Why should he? Especially with how she treats him, he could easily just say-- she treats me like crap, so why can't I? Besides, it suited them both in a way. Brother and sister, maybe. A rather violent friendship, but they still had their moments nonetheless.
Shinji made sure to keep as quiet as possible when he hurried back outside. Poking his head up a bit over the window, he watched the bored girl with a barely amused expression. He had saw how she had used the easy way in catching that rat-- almost hurting it in the process. Well, she still kind of hurt it but at least she let it go. Even though she did kinda throw it. Shinji lifted his head a little bit at seeing Hiyori suddenly cry out and plop down on the ground via her backside. Silence. How strange yet very soothing. When he saw her begin to look around, he quickly pulled his head back down before he could possibly be spotted. He held a hand over his mouth, now coming back to hearing Hiyori cry out. Picture her plopping down on the ground. He had to admit, it was pretty funny.
He shut his eyes tight, trying to hold back laughter. He knew it wasn't going to last-- but he had to at least try.
Soon enough, though, he was laughing. His hand threw itself away from his mouth, and he was already laughing hard. He just knew, that after Hiyori hears him, he would most likely be asking for a death wish. Shinji soon fell on his back, hugging his stomach while laughing.
He might as well die laughing, right?

It was dead silent, so it wasn't exactly easy to miss the door. She ignored it for now, she would give them a proper 'greeting' later. And when she turned her head they were gone anyways. If she had really tried she could likely tell who it was, because when you spent enough time around some one you learned the feeling of their presence pretty damn well. But she didn't care at this point. It was one of the vizards, that's all that mattered.
She jerked her head as she heard something, but she must have been hearing things because nothing was there. Her eyes narrowed as she stood up straight (which was still pretty short) and glanced at the entry. There it was again, and this time she was positive she heard something. Sounded almost like laughter. Her fingers curled into fists, some one was laughing at her. And now that she focused she had a good idea who it was. Her overly loud voice calling out as she stormed towards the doors. "SHINJI." Sure enough she had been right, would have been pretty damn embarrassing if it hadn't been him after all. "You didn't say hi dumbass!" And just like that the fuel was sparked. Her eyes had to adjust, were exactly was h-oh. He was on the ground, and laughing. There wasn't much around that could be funny, and instantly her eyes twitched in annoyance. She lifted a brow and jumped into the air, landing with feet on either side of him. "Having fun are we? What's so funny baldy?" For such a small person she had an incredibly dirty mouth. And the fact she was leaning over, her face practically on his didn't help much either. And one learned from experience, that Hiyori had a very hard head.
She backed up and glanced at him over her shoulder. She held out her hand and motioned with her finger for him to get up. Either he would get punched if he got up, or kicked if he didn't. Both weren't good options, but Hiyori was about predictable as a thunderhead. You knew it was coming but he never know exactly when or how it would strike. And worse, she could turn almost anything into a weapon. Her head, fists, feet, flip-flops, the 'Super Trainer' (or so lovingly called by Shinji, the Hiyori Stupid Trainer), heck even Shinji himself. If it was hard, chances were she would hit you with it.
This time surprisingly she didn't use anything to hit him, but her fingers snapped for the every present tie. Should she get a hold of it a quick downward jerk would follow. "Haven't been avoiding me have you?" Truth was, most did. No one wanted to be around Hiyori as she quite often caused trouble and no one wanted to deal with it. Heck the only people who seemed to put up with her at all were (surprisingly) Shinji and Kisuke. Though after coming to the world of the living they had been cut of from Kisuke, and even though it pained her to admit it, she did miss her former captain. Where as the former 5th captain she could do with out. He seemed to enjoy ticking her off, and she couldn't easily forget the weird faces he'd pull. And yet oddly enough he was the one person she spent most of her time with. She started walking, seeming to forget the item in her hand, and trudged through the doors. She didn't like talking in the open, incase Aizen knew they weren't dead and had sent a spy.
She released her cargo and crouched down, arms resting on her knees, hanging over a bit. "While you were off meeting your first loves," She honestly didn't care what he had been doing. "I got thinking." That was a scary thought in itself. "We haven't heard anything, about .... anything! Don't you find that irritating?" There was a solemn tone to her voice, but also the every present annoyance at everything. "Something's up .... and I don't know bout you dumbasses but I don't like it." It was one of those rare moments when she talked to some one with out intending to insult them. But something had been bothering her, it was way to quite. Fewer and fewer soul reapers popped up in Karakura town, as if they were needed in the seireitei. And those that did come were very seldom high ranked, or even ranked at all. "But more importantly," She stood up. "DON'T LEAVE ME BEHIND DUMBASS." With that she dealt a swift kick to the crotch. She would have hit him in the head, but he was too damn tall. Second option, equally painful, for a guy.

SHINJI.
How could he not hear that? Even when laughing like a mad man on drugs-- something like that. Shinji was far too amused to actually think about what to compare his laughter to. Nothing else mattered. Hell, he was amused, and he was going to stay amused for a hell long of a time.
You didn't say hi dumbass!
Shinji managed to turn his head, grinning a big, goofy grin to hold back his laughter. There she was-- staring at him with that always angry look of anger on his face. The questions he was asked made his grin grow bigger before he managed to get a fair enough grip on actual common sense. If ya keep laughing, he began thinking to himself, You'll just piss her off more. And THEN you'll wish you've never laughed at seeing her fall on the ground. His thoughts abruptly ended when he finally noticed the other's head right up to his. He could've swore that if he bonked his head against Hiyori's, he wouldn't hear a single thing. Not a damn thing. He couldn't help but state in an almost bored (though it was horribly obvious that he was doing this just to piss her off) voice, "Geeeez, get that head away from me, Snaggletoo--- wha?"
His sentence was halted once she had backed off. It led him to be confused since Hiyori had just honestly expected him to get up with a simple wag of the finger. What he did in response, was stick out his tongue-- his tongue piercing in full view for the girl to see. But even then he wasn't sure if she had seen that small scene of immaturity. That's what made Shinji pull back in his tongue and just grin up at Hiyori in that same almost eerie manner he always did when taunting somebody. One thing about Shinji-- is that he sometimes wasn't scared when it came to Hiyori. But at other times, he was honestly so frightened that he'd thought he would DIE if he even dared to talk back to her.
Which he has done quite a bit of times... But he's still alive, so.
He suddenly let out a cry of shock and almost more confusion when he felt his tie be grabbed and him be jerked in what seemed like the direction of down. But that only led to him, besides no longer holding that strange grin on his face, staring at her with more of a dizzy expression on his eyes-- it probably somewhat resembled his face a few moments after being hit by one of Hiyori's sandals. Or being punched by her. Nonetheless, that feeling of dizziness matched fine with any of the above options. He swallowed nervously, though managing to keep a cool and calm exterior.
Haven't been avoiding me have you?
Since when was she worried about where he was? He blew a lazy raspberry at her.
That's when he felt his body being dragged. He let out a loud and long groan as he was dragged back into the warehouse. His eyes showed more of a lazy look while he soon gained that famous look about him-- a frown that exposed the upper row of his teeth. Once he was let go, however, he managed to get into a more comfortable position. His elbows were holding the upper half of his body up while the rest of his body was just laying down on the ground. He listened to her, though his face didn't exactly show a look of interest. All he was doing was sticking his tongue out at her and soon starting to move his mouth around with her's, mocking her. That's when he heard her saying that she was thinking. Really?
...Really?
But when he had heard what she was really thinking about-- he couldn't help but agree. Maybe not on the irritating part, but it did seem kind of shady to him.
"Yeeeah... But you gotta remember-- this place is kind of boring sometimes."
It was the only excuse he could think of.
But more importantly,
"Eh?"
That's when he heard the loud, angry cry of Hiyori. Then the incredible pain in his groin. He let out a loud, almost comical scream as he suddenly threw his hands to the between of his legs, holding onto himself with obvious carefulness. Why the hell would she even DARE to hit him there?! Why!? This led to him looking up at her with anger and pain mixed in his eyes and shouting out at her, "What the hell!? That huuuuurts! Goddamn!!"
This is when Shinji started to regret ever laughing at Hiyori. To even THINK about laughing at Snaggletooth.

Even as she turned away she could feel that irritating grin growing on his face. So he wouldn't come, fine. That could all be fixed quite easily.
He seemed almost surprised when she grabbed him, though one should come to expect the unexpected with her. Especially since being stuck with the same thing, day in, day out, every day, for years on end. She was half tempted to grab his tongue as he pulled a childish move. Sometimes she wondered how he was ever a captain. And then the mocking, oh joy. If he wasn't one of them she would have smashed his skull into the ground right then and there. She knew he was out to get her, she just knew it.
'Yeeeah... But you gotta remember-- this place is kind of boring sometimes.'
She huffed. "That's not what I mean dumbass." She folded her arms together, hands resting on the opposite sides. "It's been too quiet ..." She trailed off, eyes following the walls, as if something was there waiting.
And now the tables were turned, as she was now the one donning an almost sadistic laugh. That had temporarily staved her boredom, but she still needed something else to do. Her eyes drifted back to 'Eh? What the hell!? That huuuuurts! Goddamn!!' Shinji, chances were the idiot wasn't in any mood do do anything. She grinned slightly, her jagged tooth sticking out. He would get over, and be back to his old ways in no time. She let out a huff and looked back at him, what a pitiful sight really. In her mind, all men were bloody idiots. But with out them life would be even more boring.
"Well, if there is something important going on I want to be ready." She cast him a side-ways glance. The pair of them may have been a captain and a lieutenant but even they slide if they weren't prepared. "Some times I wonder if you can even fight at all baldy." Her lips pulled into a smug grin. She knew that despite his looks he was quite a skilled swordsman, and no matter how much she hated it, he could hold his own in a fight. Where as Hiyori had always been better at hand-to-hand, and better meaning, the entire squad knew if she challenged you make sure it was with a sword. Though now neither was a good idea, having trained for years on end she had improved every skill. And she wasn't afraid to show them off either. The only fights she couldn't seem to win were arguments. She tended to end up just shouting insults at the top of her lungs. That she was really good at. She didn't seem to understand the concept of an indoor voice. Her outdoor voice was her all day voice. Really, really, loud.
She yawned slightly and dragged her hand under her eyes. This was driving her nuts. She would have been happy if something happened. Or she could just make something happen. Like why not start a ruckus with Shinji? The options were limited, but there had to be something interesting to do. And she was damn well going to find it. She glanced to the stuffed dummy and grinned slightly. "Hey Shinji, I didn't know you where bringing friends over." Ah the ways to amuse the simple minded. It was just to easy.

That's not what I mean dumbass.
Well WHAT did you mean? Shinji heard his mind ask while feeling his eyebrow almost twitch in annoyance as he used his hands to clutch even more tightly at the aching pain between his legs. He looked up at Hiyori, clearly not amused with the way she had just treated something no one should ever touch. But, hell, why would Hiyori even pay attention to that rule that men only seemed to know now these days? He thought he could take his hands away, but he soon decided against such a choice due to paranoia. Paranoia that Hiyori could easily punch or kick him once more.
It's been too quiet...
He felt himself rolling his eyes at this as he heard those words.
"Of course it's been too quiet," he said almost matter-of-factly. "There's really no true need for us Vizards."
With that, he grinned a thin and long grin towards her.
That grin, though, soon lowered into an icy frown as soon as he heard that sadistic laugh. He looked to the side, away from her with his eyes while doing that all too famous toothy frown once more. Shinji truly wasn't in the mood to do a single thing. What was there to do anyway? Hunt down random Hollows and hope no one randomly comes by and freaks out? He rather not waste that, to be honest. That, and he was feeling rather lazy, as well. Seeing Hiyori grin out of the corner of his eye slightly frightened him, though. He refused to let any known signs of fear sneak into his facial expressions, though. Then there was little fang sticking out. Shinji just had to look back at her and grin once more just to say this one thing:
"...Snaggletooth."
Now he knew he was going to be yelled at, insulted in some way or another, something of that kind. But as long as he could get his payback, he was completely fine with being harmed once more. Then she began talking again. Shinji sighed, looking to the side with his eyes again and having a rather bored expression on his face. He just had to wait it all out because Hiyori definitely wouldn't get off the subject now.
Just wait it out... his mind tried to tell him in a patient voice, No matter how difficult it's going to be soon enough.
Some times I wonder if you can even fight at all badly.
At that, though, Shinji turned his head back to Hiyori at least for the third (he didn't think he'd have to count how many head turns he had done towards her) time. Seeing that smug grin, Shinji reached out with his hand (at first having one hand still there but soon just let his other hand lay on the ground) to grab at Hiyori's nose. If his hand did succeed, he would pinch it then immediately jerk his hand away, hopefully leaving some sort of effect on the short, angry girl. "Ya know damn well that I can keep alive in a fight," he said while sticking out his tongue at her with a sly smile on his face. "You of all people should know that, you idiot." Shinji also knew damn well that he had a chance at kicking Hiyori's ass, but he also knew that Hiyori could hold her own for a long time. She was just that stubborn-- in his opinion anyway.
Soon hearing Hiyori yawn and do that small hand motion, Shinji tilted his head unknowingly a bit to the side. Soon enough, his head dropped completely and just fell against his shoulder. "Don't fall asleep, Snaggletooth." A lazy grin proceeded to cross over his lips as he watched this grin slowly slide over her facial expression. Now, THAT was scary. So scary that it caused his own grin to falter quite a bit.
Hey Shinji, I didn't know you were bringing friends over.
"What!" Shinji immediately said, louder than he normally once. Soon enough, his eyes squinted to insanely thin. He threw out his arm, attempting to grab Hiyori by the top of her head and pull her close in front of his face. "...No, really, what did you say." It wasn't a question-- more of a demand.

'Of course it's been too quiet,'
She simply glared, letting the words pass over her mind. But when came next, really struck a cord.
'There's really no true need for us Vizards.'
Her eyes grew small, and her voice fluctuated as she began to speak. "No true need?" He had clearly struck something in the much smaller female. Her hands balled into fists, tightening and releasing. "Don't you dare say there's no need for us." She was almost shaking she was so peeved. "I wont sleep until I see that son-of-a-bitches head on a platter." Unlike most of the others she hadn't quite accepted the fact they likely wouldn't get their revenge on Aizen for what he did. Every time he was mentioned in conversation her blood boiled. She hated how they could be so calm about it.
'...Snaggletooth.'
She huffed and glared at him, why must that come in to every conversation? Yeah her tooth stuck out, but she didn't see why he had to notice it. 'Bet he wouldn't notice it if it was digging into his arm' She honestly considered biting him, but she refrained. They may been deemed hollows by the Seireitei, but she was no monster.
She snorted and went cross eyed as he grabbed her nose. The hell was he doing?! An almost growl like sound rumbled in her throat.
'Ya know damn well that I can keep alive in a fight,'
Rubbing her nose slightly she sniffed and muttered under her breath, something about wanting to smack him upside the head. She considered it for a moment and decided against it. She had caused him enough grief for one day.
'You of all people should know that, you idiot.'
"Don't call me an idiot dickhead." And how quickly her attention was changed. It wasn't exactly easy having a proper conversation with the temper-mental girl. Every time you insulted her she would change the subject back to insulting you. But she did know what he spoke was truth, after all you weren't simply handed the title of captain. Then again, neither was Lieutenant. But she constantly had to remind herself, those ranks meant nothing now. They were all in the same group, the masked army, the Vizards.
'Don't fall asleep, Snaggletooth.'
She glared at him, blinked several times to clear her vision. She almost shuddered as his weird grin grew. He always looked so damn creepy. Then again her almost always angry expression wasn't much better. "Not gunna dipshit." Ah the friendship, it was almost painful. It was a miracle she managed to survive around him, she seemed to always be complaining about something he had done wrong.
'What!'
She almost yelled as she felt his hand on her head. Not exactly ready for it she was pulled closer, and she could tell she had either confused him, or really ticked him off. She could never really tell, his freaky face wasn't exactly easy to read. Either way, she won.
'...No, really, what did you say.'
"You heard me dumbass. Don't make me repeat myself." She wriggled slightly, trying to get free with out messing up her hair. She already had several chunks hanging loose from her previous fit, and she would rather not have to redo her rather stumpy pony-tails. She ended up just staring him down, her eyebrows slanted down and her mouth pushed into a pout.

"No true need?"
Shinji looked at her. Oh boy... Here it comes... he heard his mind saying as in warning. He was expecting the other to just whip off her sandal and just start beating him crazy with it. His eyes managed to catch sight of how she balled her hands into fists constantly. Shinji then let his eyesight look back up at her.
"Don't you dare say there's no need for us."
Quietly, he lifted up both of his hands in an attempt to calm her down. What else was there to do to get her to calm? Nothing. Especially just holding up your hands. He knew, always knew, that it was never going to work. He wasn't even sure himself why he even bothered trying. Maybe it just helped him sleep more comfortably at night to know that he at least tried. "Geez, just shut up about that. It's going to be a while until we actually do get a chance to strike..." It was obvious he was trying to keep his voice at a much more calmer level, much different than his previous attitude towards her. It was because he realized that Hiyori may have been a bit more than just bothered by this. "We just can't expose ourselves to him just yet. Ever heard of this wonderful thing called strategy?"
Hearing the huff and feeling that mad glare on him, Shinji immediately turned his head to the side. No matter what, though, the smallest hint of a grin appeared on his lips. He was trying to hide it, but it was actually quite hard when you got a reaction out of Hiyori. Snaggletooth.
Her sniff caused him to look back at her. At least he managed to cause a small mark on the other-- even if it were just her too small nose. An eyebrow lifted on his face as he heard the faintest mutters. Hiyori probably was pissed now but wouldn't dare show it now. Instead of asking what she had said, he just shrugged out of what seemed to be boredom. Though, he wasn't anywhere near bored. How could anyone be bored when Hiyori was around to beat them around like some sort of punching bag?
"Don't call me an idiot dickhead."
Shinji frowned, exposing the upper row of his teeth once more, at the girl and murmured, "Don't call me a dickhead then, you idiot." Though he doubted that she'd actually hear that quiet murmur. He was fine with that because he rathered not having another bright red footprint on his cheek to explain to the others.
At seeing her blink a couple of times he couldn't help but let a small chuckle escape his throat. Shinji was tempted to say something about how she had shivered at his grin but decided against it.
"Not gunna dipshit."
Shinji frowned a small frown as he let his head fall slightly to the side, resting almost on his shoulder. "Sheesh, what's with the name callin'?" Of course that was an obvious answer. They always were like this. Exchanging insulting names and beating on one another. It was a strange friendship, yes. In a way, though, Shinji couldn't think about this friendship in any other way. Honestly, if you were stuck with Hiyori since your time as a captain, probably even before, would you be able to picture her being nice? Exactly.
As he had pulled her closer earlier, he let his eyes squint even more.
"Don't make me repeat myself."
Shinji grumbled something underneath his breath as he felt her wriggle a bit under his hand. Soon enough, though, all he and she were doing were staring at each other. Shinji, though, felt a bit more intimidated because of how the other was more of an expert with glaring down at him. Especially when she did that bratty pouty lip.
"You said somethin 'bout me bringing friends over. And I'm pretty sure the only "friend" here is that guy--" He paused to point, with his free hand, over to the training dummy that he almost always saw Hiyori beating on. "--over there. And he don't seem to be too lively at the moment..."
Yes, their friendship was a wonderful thing.

'Geez, just shut up about that. It's going to be a while until we actually do get a chance to strike...'
She didn't care if it was going to be years, just the thought of what that man could be doing pissed her off. And the tone of his voice was really picking at it.
'We just can't expose ourselves to him just yet. Ever heard of this wonderful thing called strategy?'
She snorted and punched the air. "I got a strategy right here! Beat him till he begs me too stop." She was getting really heated. He just kept adding fuel to the fire, and it was jet engine fuel. The small girl was always a fire, but it seemed to grow bigger with her anger. It only seemed to blow over when she was left in silence. Talking to her only made it worse. Her dark brown eyes seemed to reflect that, the brighter ring of orange like a flame, growing with her anger.
While she wasn't the only one that had their breakdowns, she was the only one that had one every single day. She was just a generally angry person. Something always made her upset, be it a person, a thing, even a memory. Something was always bothering the short blonde. It wasn't clear why she couldn't just let it go, but Shinji had found out long ago what caused her so much agitation. The lose of her former captain Hikifune, a woman who had been like a mother to the little pain in the back. After that it was hard for her to get close to any one, in fact that she had accepted Kisuke at all was a miracle. The small girl had a feeling that the two had spoken, a male to male conversation about her. While the thought made her twitch in anger she was glad it happened. It let her know that some people still cared.
'Don't call me a dickhead then,you idiot.'
Her lips tugged into a snarl. "I told you I don't like repeating myself!" And as much as the much taller male annoyed her she didn't want to continue this all day long. The constant back and forth bickering was enough to drive even her mad. She could only take so much before her head started to hurt. Her one track mind would start speeding towards the end, and the conductor forget how to brake.
'Sheesh, what's with the name callin'?'
She rolled her eyes and pulled a rather convincing face. "What's with the name calling." Her tone was clear was rain, she mocking him. One thing she happened to do surprisingly well. "What do you think? I ain't gonna respect a dumbass like you!" Though that was the exact opposite, the respect she held for him was amazing, mostly because no one ever saw it. Sure they yelled back and forth, but she listened to him. If he said to run, she would run. But due to her aggressive nature it wasn't exactly easy for her to express it.
'You said somethin 'bout me bringing friends over. And I'm pretty sure the only "friend" here is that guy--'
Her eyes followed his hand for a moment, oh so he wasn't a complete moron.
'--over there. And he don't seem to be too lively at the moment...'
She smirked and returned her gaze to him. "I know, you're the perfect pair." There was a sharp tone to her voice, but under it there was the playful hint of teasing. It was the only time you could tell she was simple a girl trying to have some fun. Even if that fun involved beating people into shells of their former selves. She was just like every one else, with a much higher violence level.
At this point she was really starting to wish he'd let go. And since that likely wasn't going to happen her hand reached up for his, grabbing his wrist. With a less than subtle motion she jerked her hand down, hopefully taking him with her. "HYAAAA!" She cried out as she tried to free her head. She was ready to break the thing off if she had too. She would love too see how he would fight with one hand.

"I got a strategy right here!"
At seeing Hiyori punch the air, Shinji looked away. It was no surprise, honestly, to see the girl so rattled up. She always got so rattled up-- usually at the things he said, and most of the time he never meant to start a whole slap fight with her.
...Of course she would always win the slap fight. Stupid sandal.
"Beat him till he begs me to stop."
Shinji sighed loudly to her "strategy". Really? he heard his mind ask itself, Really? Is that all she has? Is that all she can think about? He began to shrug but was stopped in between as he watched her eyes. They had that intensity. That rage. Immediately freezing, Shinji frowned, of course revealing the upper row of teeth he owned. He waited for her to do something. Anything.
...Well?
"...Eh, Hiyori..." Shinji began, thinking it was no use in just letting her words go unheard. "I don't quite think that'd work." His expression showed that of boredom and that of slight amusement.
Of course, though, he understood why Hiyori was always so irritated. So angry and so full of such rage. He knew just about everything about Hiyori-- at least what he had managed to get out of her when they actually had their share of real friendship. It was rare but very valuable to Shinji in his case. It was nice to see Hiyori so content and not up and about, yelling at others. It was also nice not to be hit by her sandal once in every while. Sometimes that thing made his head hurt to such unbarable levels.
"I told you I don't like repeating myself!"
Oh god.
There was that snarl.
"What's with the name calling."
Oh god.
There was the rolling eyes.
"What do you think? I ain't gonna respect a dumbass like you!"
Oh goddammit.
That's what hit the nerve in him. He perked up immediately and raised his voice at her, "Well excuuuuse me, missus!" There he was, bickering with her. Shouting back and forth, something he wasn't planning on doing today. That plan was already going downhill and it was going down quite fast. Way too fast for even Shinji to comprehend why it had suddenly spiraled out of control.
"I know, you're the perfect pair."
Hiyori smirked at him. She smirked at him. Shinji grimaced before taking a small mental note about the sharpness in her voice. She was also teasing, as well. Shinji sighed, trying to just brush it off and take it in stride. All she was doing was teasing him. Not throwing him around or slapping him around, just teasing him around. "Hey, only a dummy would know what a true dummy is," he murmured while grinning at her. That eerily long grin that seemed to define Shinji's very person. The grin soon dropped from his expression once he felt a hand take hold of his wrist. "H-Hey, what are you doing Hiyor--!!" he shouted out at her as he soon felt his body swing into the air then down against the ground.
"HYAAAA!"
"...iii." He managed to finish saying the girl's name, which seemed pretty pointless now. He felt as if he had just been run over by a stampede of hollows. A stampede of very tall and very large hollows. Him swinging down had caused him to let go of Hiyori's head and that was what made him all the more disappointed. Trying to come back with his senses, Shinji threw out both of his arms to try and wrap about her legs then pull her down roughly to the ground.
"Friggin' idiot...!" he coughed out.
