How did all of Ichigo's friends manage to be absent on the same day? Whatever the reason, he was now doomed to eat lunch alone. Well, almost. The ghost of a high school girl was pestering him at present. He grumbled but otherwise tried to ignore her. No point in attracting attention
"Ohhhhh, that looks so good! How I miss getting to eat...can you describe how it tastes to me, Strawberry Head?"
Sigh. He took another bite of his lunch, mulling over the question. "Ffff Ah hell you, ill oo go away?" It was a fair enough question. Give her what she wants, get what he wants. However, the ghost wailed at the notion.
"But then I'd be alooooooooone! Waaaaah you don't like me!"
Spike orange head would shake, and Ichigo would swallow a bite that was way too big. He'd cough, then look up at the ghost. "No, that's not it at all! It's just others can't see you like I can. They'll think I'm talking to myself." That. Did not. Help. The wailing got louder, joined by ghost tears.
"EVERYONE IGNORES MEEEEEEE! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"SHUT UP!" Jumped to his feet and glared at the ghost. He felt a clatter of plates and looked behind him. Damn. People were staring. He turned around and chuckled nervously. "Eh heheh...practicing for drama?" That excuse barely passed. Everyone knew he wasn't in the drama club. Oh well, they had at least returned to their lunches.
"*sniffle* What does it taste like, Strawberry Head?"
He sighed and motioned for the ghost to come closer. He'd whisper to her, jst to get her to be quiet. "The noodles don't taste like much by themself, but the broth tastes like chicken. Slightly seasoned. Tastes good." He drank some of his juice. Hmmm...pomegranate. "And with it I've got pomegranate juice. It's tangy. A little sweet." The ghost giggle delightedly.
"Mmmmm I can taste it now! Got anything else?"
Ichigo shook his head. "No, we only had two cupcakes left, so I let my little sisters have them."
"Awwww, you're so sweet!"
He sighed. Was she going to go away now?...No. "Yeah, yeah. Now let me eat in peace." The ghost nodded and floated to the top of the roof. From there she stared down at Ichigo as he ate. It felt creepy, but at least she was being quiet.

Oh how good it was to be whole again, to have everything back that he had lost in one day restored to him after all these years. It left a sense of being in him, yet also something more than that, it gave the redounded soul reaper a sense of utter satisfaction, now he had all the power he needed to fulfil all that desire his now twisted heart desired... And with his new bankai... Well there were now none who could stop the revenge driven youth, so he thought at least. Regardless of this he was still stuck with the embarrassment of having to attend this sickening school, it irritated him deeply and left a sour taste in his mouth. Still, he supposed there was the positive that it would be very soon that his plans would be put into play, soon he'd gain the object that could grant him the desires he wanted, at which point his little white haired friend wouldn't know what had hit him. It would be the soul society though that would feel his full wrath, it was simply a fact that he'd be involving his old friend because that's how it was meant to be.
There was something that he'd noticed though, soon after regaining his powers he'd been hit by a rather unusual spiritual pressure... That of a human to boot. It had amused and fascinated him in many a way, it was indeed something he had to see for himself. Now that his senses were no longer dulled he was certain he could track this fool, the stupid fool wasn't even trying to hide it, he just let it flow freely, even he wasn't careful then he'd have one or two of Sojiro's little pets trying to chew on his back. Frankly Kusaka didn't care about that, one life or a hundred, they were all the same when it came to completing his ultimate goal in all of this. This boy was of no threat, and nor was he of any use, to Kusaka he was nothing but a mild interest to be investigated, and that he most certainly would. Despite everything he was still young and in many a ways desired knowledge, it really wouldn't even that hard to get what it was exactly he needed, he was after all near sure he was in this boy's class... Kurosaki or something like that? Didn't know, didn't reeeeeally care who he was to be honest, just what he was to have this strange power.
Huffing slightly the violet eyed teen stood from under the tree he'd been sat and scanned quickly the area around him, it was of course lunch time, and thus the grounds were bustling with intolerable humans going about screwing everything over. The eye blindingly haired boy wasn't here, but he was close, that much he knew. If he'd actually bothered to pay any attention to where the boy and his cohorts hung out he'd know full well exactly where he'd be at this time, but as it very simply that he hadn't. Instead he'd just pinpoint the kid, not hard at all for someone with the various skills and talents he himself possessed (not to boast or anything), and indeed that was the case, the fool was sat on the roof? Oh this was just to simple! It was just a short walk from his current position and through the school, which of course he took, books tucked under his arm and lunch in his other hand. He didn't need to eat any more, but there was a simple pleasure in it and if he were to gain this human's trust then he supposed he needed to give some common ground to work on... And then there was the case of getting him to talk about the spiritual energy he possessed. Ah well, if there was a way Kusaka would find it.
"Yeah, yeah. Now let me eat in peace."
Ahhhh, there he was, talking with a ghost no less! That was him, and indeed it was the boy he'd thought it was. Throwing up a kindly smile he wandered forward to stop before the boy, and bowed his head slightly with a wave to go with it. “Ichigo Kurosaki, correct?” He knew pretty well now that he thought about it that this was indeed the kid's name, Kusaka was no fool and even though he considered the humans here inconsequential he did know the names of most of the ones in his class. “You know,” he started with a little laugh. “You shouldn't talk to them when people are around, they'll think you're mad or something.” His voice held a sense of nervous joviality to it, whilst it was false it was still there and impossible to be judged as a lie. It was a sad fact in life if you could lie so convincingly about your own emotions that even you yourself would have failed to see through it had you been on the outside. “Ahhh, I know this is weird to ask, but... Uh,” pausing he gave a mild shuffle of unease, by all means it was an easier to convince someone as a friend if they saw you as weak and nervous. “Mind if I join yah?” Simple questions would lead to simple answers, and then that would lead to some basis of trust. The trick was to get this human talking, he'd already basically told this human he too could see ghosts, and he hopped that would gain enough interest for Ichigo to accept. Of course it could all go wrong, but he doubted it would.

As Ichigo ate, the ghost began to hum merrily. Brown eyes would roll but other than that the teenager would ignore it. He was hungry, after all. He took a drink from his juice and nearly spat it out when someone suddenly spoke to him. Instead he just choked on it.
“Ichigo Kurosaki, correct?”
Ichigo coughed a couple times to clear his throat, then nodded. "Yeah. And you're the new kid. Uh..." Hell if he knew what his name was. He didn't really feel bad not knowing either. It's not like they really interacted in class. Whatever. He was more interested in what the kid had to say.
“You know...You shouldn't talk to them when people are around, they'll think you're mad or something.”
Ichigo hesitated, then donned his nervous grin. "What're you talking about? There's no one here to talk to!" The ghost didn't like him saying that at ALL. Se abruptly replaced her humming with wailing and even had the gall to fly down and cry right in his face.
"I thought you liked meeeeeee! Waaaaaa I don't have ANY FRIENNNNNNDS!"
Out of impulse he swung at the ghost. "BUZZ OFF!" She flew away bawling leaving Ichigo to stare awkwardly at his classmate. Something had just occured to him. "Wait, you knew I was talking to her. Does that mean you see them too?" The teen didn't answer right away, instead he asked his own question.
“Ahhh, I know this is weird to ask, but... Uh...Mind if I join yah?"
"Absolutely. Not here." He stood up and grabbed his classmate by the collar, then began dragging him to a more secluded place. They couldn't talk about ghosts with so many people around. When they reached the room with all the gym equipment, he shut the door behind them and let him go. "You see the ghosts. I see the ghosts. Why do we see the ghosts." Straight to the point. No time for beating around the bush.

"Yeah. And you're the new kid. Uh..."
….. Idiot, he was a plain and simple idiot... How could anyone be that stupid and still be alive?! He'd nearly damn killed himself with a drink! Ugh, luck probably, pain in the ass. Instead of saying such though he simply gave a mildly enthusiastic nod. “Yeah, that's me... My name's Sojiro Kusaka, it's nice to meet you~” Giving a slight nod he offered a hand out, whilst shuffling everything he was folding so as not to drop it. Up close it was infinitely clear there was something.... Off about this human... Of course there were some spiritually aware humans out there, he knew that well enough. Yet even by those standards this boy was something strange, just what the hell was he? In the long run it perhaps didn't matter so much, this boy may have had some abnormal energy, but at the end of the day it was just a human, and to a soul reaper such as himself there was never a chance that this pest could bridge that gap. No, Ichigo was just a novelty for Kusaka, a new toy that needed further exploration before it was ignored and cast to the side in favour of something better, perhaps that little item he had his eyes set upon.
"What're you talking about? There's no one here to talk to!"
In such a situation he'd normally have said the individual was playing dumb, but for that to be the case the individual would have had to show some degree of intelligence. “Then you were talking to yourself?” He questioned with a feigned amusement. “The little girl,” he stated with a slight hum to his voice. He didn't really want to play games, at least not these games.... There were indeed some though that he did wish to play, riddles within riddles and all into their end. He'd get what he wanted and they'd come of their own free will, he'd not be forcing them. Oh it was all just to sweet! As soon as his first play was solved there would be another, and then most surely another. Not all would see his messages in the dark, only those like Ichigo would be able to, those with abnormally high spiritual pressure... Hehe, now imagine if this little human managed to see through his ghost writing, what a world of trouble the carrot haired youth would be in then. Frankly when all was said Kusaka couldn't care less either way, he had no vendetta with this human, though if he got in the way that was his fault.
"I thought you liked meeeeeee! Waaaaaa I don't have ANY FRIENNNNNNDS!" "BUZZ OFF! Wait, you knew I was talking to her. Does that mean you see them too?"
Well it seemed someone had never learned the gift known as subtality, he was catching them way to many funny looks from people. Had Sojiro at all cared about what the people here though about him then he'd have very simply made a damn good mental not to stay AWAY from Ichigo. Never to go near him, never to talk to him, hell, just remove all association from him. “You should try being nicer to them, they're just alone,” he stated with a slight chuckle apparently at Ichigo's reaction. Of course it made no odds to him how some moaning little ghost was dealt with, frankly this one was just damn annoying, seems the damn soul reapers were doing pretty damn badly when it came to cleaning up wandering souls... Huh, give her a few years and her keen would become a high pitched roar, all of this was on the grounds that the bastards who only cared for their laws continued to sit on their stupid asses and do nothing. “Ahh, yeah it does.” Giving a nervous chuckle he scratched the back of his head slightly. So it seemed he had pulled the human's interest after all, excellent! Everything was going accordingly, though frankly he'd expected nothing less.
"Absolutely. Not here."
Ahhhhh crap! No, just no! Of course he saw as Ichigo graved out, and it would have been a simple matter to dodge it, but to some degree he knew he really couldn't do that. Evidently Ichigo wanted to talk, in private by the looks of it, and that could be exactly what he needed.... But dammit, did Ichigo really intend to drag Kusaka all the way there? Letting him take hold of his collar it very apparently seemed so. With a sharp yank the human seemed to be off, leading Kusaka along like he was some kind of damn well dog! Stupid bastard! With a growl that was very quickly masked as a choking sound he followed after Ichigo, careful not to let the moron strangle him, and also very careful to avoid the temptation of strangling Ichigo himself. Whatever the hell was gonna happen Kusaka had decided something, Ichigo now very clearly had death by menos written all over him. It may have been a wast of a menos, but he'd be damned if he was going to have someone drag him around and then let them get away with it. Not gonna happen, not now, not ever... It was just one more thing to add to his ever expanding list of revenge driven vendettas.
“You see the ghosts. I see the ghosts. Why do we see the ghosts."
As he was let go he gave a mild sigh of relief for show before following it with a slight laugh. “Warn me before you do that again.” Amusement, nervous amusement, it was the mask he presently wore, and he did a damn fine job of it. Below it all there was an utter detest at this whole thing, though a part of it soon turned to smug satisfaction when Ichigo started to talk again. “Just unlucky I guess,” he sighed out a second later. Of course he knew the real reason, it was the heightened spiritual pressure, one of them was spiritually aware, and the other was a spirit being locked in a false body whilst keeping his power firmly hidden. Those were the real reasons. “It's always been like this for me,” he stated before turning away and wandering over to one of the benches used in gym. With a mild sigh he sat down, once more lifting violet eyes to face the boy. “Same for you?” Give information and then get it back, simple and effective. The best part was that he didn't even have to give true information, it simply had to be believable. Like a puppet on a string Ichigo would dance. [/size]

“Warn me before you do that again."
Ichigo scoffed. "Not making any promises there." He pulled a basketball out of the bin and started absently rolling it in his hands. He sat down with his legs apart and rolled it on the ground between. Looking up, he listened to Sojiro's response to his question.
"Just unlucky I guess. It's always been like this for me, same for you?”
A sigh was let out as he averted his gaze. Did he really want to talk about this, now that he thought about it? He never had before, not even with his family or close friends. It was his cross to bear, and his alone. This one had the same problem, but did that mean they should team up and help each other? It was a troubling issue. "Well..." He rolled the basketball over to Sojiro. "It wasn't always this strong. I used to not know the difference between ghosts and the living. Caused a lot of problems. Now I can, and I can touch them too." He shrugged. "I thought I was the only one before I me-"
GRAAAAHHHHGGH!
The howl caught Ichigo off guard, causing him to gasp. He jumped to his feet and looked in the direction of the sound. "What was that?!" Eyes turned to Kusaka. Did he know about this? Whatever it was, it didn't sound friendly. He heard a crash outside, followed by screams of different pitches. Bewildered words followed.
"The wall just exploded!"
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, but what happened to the building?"
CRASH.
Ichigo hesitated. It sounded like a warzone out there! But what if his friends were in danger? What if the thing went to his sisters' school? He grabbed a basketball and ran out the door. He looked back at Kusaka. "Come on! We gotta help!" Without waiting for an answer, he ran in the direction of the noise.
Wait.
WAIT.
What. Was. THAT.
It looked like something out of a horror movie, to be honest. It was big, had a hole in its chest, and some kind of mask over its face. It wailed again, then looked at Ichigo. He suddenly felt like a dumbass for coming outside. That feeling went up exponentially when it came running towards him. "SHIIIIIT!" He turned around and bolted for the gym storage. He pulled the door open and slammed it behind him. Didn't occur to him that a pile of bricks wouldn't stop that thing.
CRAAAAAASH!
"Move it!" He grabbed Kusaka and pulled him to the ground with him, just barely missing being hit by a wave of rubble. They were surrounded by debris now, with minor scrapes. The biggest problem was that they were trapped. There were bits of the building on all sides and above them, like a cave with no entrance. And the monster was digging after them. "Dammit! What is that thing?! How do we beat it?! Kusaka!" He looked through the dark at his classmate. "What do we do?"

"Not making any promises there."
Oh for the love of.... Was it REALLY that hard not to randomly go dragging people off without giving them a fair warning. “Yeah, well just as long as yah try,” he hummed out merrily. Frankly he didn't want a warning anyway, rather he simply didn't want to be dragged around fullstop. It was utterly humiliating to be perfectly honest, he was a soul reaper, far older than this boy, and yet he was forced to fall to such levels . Perhaps once he'd have found amusement in it, but no longer, now it was an act to be detested as it made him appear weak, and after so long of not having his powers taken from him and actually being weak he didn't at all like the idea of now having to act as such. He'd spent all his life striving for strength, this desire had then been ruthlessly kicked into him when he was forced here, and now all of this had forced him to become many things he hated. Oh how he loved the world of the living, it really was a wonderful place..... Or not....
"It wasn't always this strong. I used to not know the difference between ghosts and the living. Caused a lot of problems. Now I can, and I can touch them too. I thought I was the only one before I me-" GRAAAAHHHHGGH! "What was that?!"
Ahhhh, so his power had grown over time, with more could it continue to increase? Hmm, now there was a very real possibility that needed to be explored, that particular information could be of use to him in the long run. Taking the ball rolled to him he tossed it and caught it a couple of times, listening to what else Ichigo had to say. “Yeah, it kinda pushes people away from you too...” Taking on a deliberate more saddened tone, one showing understanding to a point deeper than the one being said. As he opened his mouth to respond though he was gut off as a presence hit him, followed by a screech... A hollow? Well damn, that kinda sucked... With a look of faux shock he turned to face Ichigo. “I-it's a hollow!” Of course it was a hollow, they were damn common bastards, and by some freaking luck the soul reapers always seemed to miss a good number of 'em. In the end it would be this laziness that would pull them down, he'd make them regret it deeply. First though this issue needed to be dealt with before it caused any issues that may harm Kusaka's plans. The last thing he needed was a hollow chewing on his back.
"Come on! We gotta help!"
Ah the dumbass was going to die, right now that was somewhat detrimental to Kusaka, with all this he could be of use, and what better way to explore his abilities than by seeing them first hand.... “Wait!” He hollered, only taking one step forward. “Ichigo it's a hollow!” Would he know what a hollow was though? Perhaps not, if he was running out so boldly then it was likely he had absolutely no idea what he was about to run into. Oh he was an idiot, one with a death wish. Any normal person would take a moment try try and assess the whole thing, but no, he ran out so rashly and took nothing in. He had no tactical awareness to him at all, he was just driven on his raw emotions. Though quickly he seemed to realize that this meant far more trouble as he came running back with a rather loud: 'SHIIIIIT!' Oh how very subtle. If he'd been a soul reaper he'd have been scolded for such obvious idiocy, and for the fact he was allowing so much spiritual pressure too. No doubt it was all the free flowing energy that had attracted the creature in the first place. Oh joy to the world...
"Move it!"
Wait... CRAP! The idiot! He was going to get them both killed, and whilst Kuasak didn't strictly care about what the hell happened with Ichigo's life he DID care about his own. “NO DO-” Before he could finish the statement he was hauled down to the ground. He could have moved, but doing so in the space provided would only have pushed him into the hollow's coming attack, at least this way he had more of a chance of damn surviving it and being well enough to fight back without leaving his gigai. Regardless of this human knowing he was a soul reaper he didn't want to have to find himself in a fight where he'd be forced to reveal his spiritual pressure, and thus be noticed. At all costs he could not allow that to happen, everything he was working for relied on everyone thinking his powers were gone and he was no better than a human. As rubble fell he snarled slightly and curled himself up into a ball, his arms covering his head to protect it. He knew this wasn't good, the only thing he was at all thankful for was the fact that this hollow was incredibly weak... Had it been a menos then they'd have been doomed unless he'd drawn the blade that none but he himself knew he had.
"Dammit! What is that thing?! How do we beat it?! Kusaka! What do we do?"
With a groan he rolled over, rubble digging into his back. Damn that Ichigo, stupid bastard! Coughing slightly he went to push himself up, though stopped with a sharp hiss. Ah crap! Without the means to protect himself due to the orange haired imbecile he'd left himself open, and that had cost him in the form of a rather deep gash to his arm. If only that stupid human had left him be! Even without having to leave this damn false body he'd have been able to destroy it, but no, the stupid prick HAD to screw him over... Great. No really, just great! “Break the mask,” he stated, this time pushing himself up whilst ignoring the wound. Whilst it stung like a bitch it was unlikely to actually kill him or slow him down all that much, it would be a mild irritation for a while, and nothing more. “Break the mask and it dies,” he added on simply, his voice with a darker edge to it this time. Under the circumstances though this was perhaps suitable enough, even if he was surprisingly calm about it all. Really a hollow was just a hollow, this was nothing special to him.

“Ichigo it's a hollow!”
"A what?! What the hell is that?!" Kusaka let out a hiss of pain which drew Ichigo's attention to the gash on his peer's arm. Dammit! This is my fault! "So how do I kill that bastard!" Give an answer quick, Kusaka, or Ichigo would hurl you at instead of doing something more logical. Adrenaline was clouding his logic.
“Break the mask. Break the mask and it dies.”
"Break the..." CRASH. The Hollow roared at them through a hole it had broken in the pile. It reached its hand in, almost grabbing Ichigo with its long fingers. He reeled back and grabbed a baseball bat. "I'm on it! Stay here!" He grabbed onto the hollow's arm and held on as it pulled it through the hole.
The hollow, unfortunately, did not take kindly to being used as a climbing rope. It roared its protest and swung its arm furiously. Ichigo held on as much as he could but his grip was slipping. "Gaaaah!" With a few more swings, Ichigo was sent flying about five yards into a tree. He coughed from the contact, then stared in the direction he'd come from. He was too dazed to move, to even see straight.
Dammit, dammit, dammit! I can't see clearly! Where is it? Come on, focus!
He jammed his eyes shut for a moment, then opened them again. He could see a tiny bit better now, enough to see the hollow running straight towards him. He pushed himself up using the tree as a support and held his bat like a sword. He'd hit that bastard, oh yes he would. He'd hit it right out of the park!...er, schoolyard.
As the hollow reached in with its gaping mouth, Ichigo yelled and swung his bat downward. He managed to hit the hollow squarely on the forehead...but unfortunately he was still weak from being thrown. The result was a mere crack in the mask. The hollow roared in anger and grabbed Ichigo in his large hand. The beast squeezed a little too tight for it to be comfortable and began charging for the pile of rubble.
Run for it, Kusaka!

"A what?! What the hell is that?! So how do I kill that bastard!"
Riiight, so he didn't know what a hollow was. In itself he found it rather amusing that having spent such a long time being able to see the dead he'd never before seen one of these monsters, sure the were hunted down often a time, but there were always some missed. If he'd been leaking power like this for any period of time then to be honest hollows should have been chasing him left right and center, he really should have seen one before this point... Unless only now had his awareness grown to the point of him actually having enough power to actually be able to see them, that was a possibility he supposed. Ohhh wasn't it just Kusaka's luck to be around when he first started seeing the damn things. “A monster, that's all I know,” he grunted before standing and turning to stalk through the rubble, evidently looking for something. He needed a weapon, of course he could probably just hurl a brick at the damn things face, but that would look all to suspicious. “You don't,” he responded firmly. He knew Ichigo wouldn't listen, that was the point. He'd given an answer that seemed compassionate and yet had to give no specifics other than what he'd previously given. He wanted to see how Ichigo managed alone.
"Break the... I'm on it! Stay here!"
He had every intention of doing just that, he didn't need to be told. “No, dammit Ichigo wait!” Sounding frantic he continued his search for something, Ichigo it seemed had opted for some metal bat. Eh, give it enough force and there was the potential for it to work. Kusaka though was opting for something more his style, whilst he couldn't use a blade he could use something less barbaric than a bat. With a short sneer he bent down a moment, quickly standing straight again shortly after with a javelin in hand... Perfect. Now then, let the idiot play around for a bit, whilst he dealt with his arm. Giving a sigh he turned back around before slamming his new found weapon into the ground to hold it there. It seemed Ichigo was still alive, so perhaps there was something to him, hell, there was a chance he could be of use to Kusaka later on... He'd see about that later. Still watching he took the sleeve of his injured arm and gave a sharp pull, effectively ripping it off from the shoulder down. From there he quickly bound his arm to staunch the bleeding, if only for the simple reason that even a simple would could cause trouble if it bled to much.
"Gaaaah!"
Watching as he was hurled Kusaka tilted his head in vague fascination, he wasn't actually doing as poorly as Kusaka had expected. Things only seemed to improve as he brought his weapon down on the creatures mask, the thing seemed to screech in pain, though apparently he hadn't actually dispatched of it, likely just a crack. Well damn, seemed his luck was once more going for the worse, especially as the beast took him in a firm grasp on him. Yeah, he was well and truly screwed. With a roll of his eyes he reached out and took the javelin to haul it from the ground, he really didn't care for this moron's life, but this whole thing had made it evident that there was something utterly strange about this human, how could he face a hollow like this and still be alive... Was it more than luck? Eh, he didn't know, nor would he ever if he actually let him die. Besides which it could actually be fun to deal with this hollow, it'd been such a very long time. Quickly pacing forward at a rate that would shame the human athletes here he'd have grinned if he was sure none would see, it really was good to be him sometimes.
Whilst not by any stretch was it a flash step it was still somewhat impressive, he didn't perhaps look as impressively physically adept as some, but as he leaped with incredible ease onto the arm to the hand that held Ichigo it was painfully apparent such an observation would be very wrong. “You okay?” He questioned, crouching on the arm and looking back. “Ah, don't be so rash next time, I don't want to see a friend die~” With a smile he turned back and stood up straight, jumping forward as the beast growled and tried to snag him with its other hand. In a matter of seconds he effectively ended it. With a sharp downward slash of his javelin he shattered the mask in a ruthless manner, before coming to land back on the ground. Only to turn and see the beast begin to disipate as if simply vanishing. Ichigo would by no means understand what would happen, and frankly Kusaka didn't want to explain though would probably have to. “We should get you to the nurse,” he stated with apparent worry. “You took a nasty knock back there.. But hell yah did a great job!”

Well this sucked. He was still dazed from hitting the tree, and now he was getting the life squeezed out of him by a Hollow. He struggled against the monster's grip but all that got him was a tighter squeeze. Suddenly he felt something snap. Yeah, there went a couple ribs. "Ngh..." Definitely not good. If the hollow squeezed any tighter his organs would turn to jelly. Luckily, Kusaka appeared. He had a javelin in his hand.
“You okay? Ah, don't be so rash next time, I don't want to see a friend die~”
Through heavy breaths Ichigo replied. "Do I...look like...gggh...I'm okay?!" The Hollow tried to grab Sojiro but the student was too fast. Unfortunately the grabby hand kept going until it met Ichigo's face. This caused his head to ring dangerously as he got whacked. Suddenly, he felt the grip released and he fell to the ground. The Hollow had...vanished? What the hell?
“We should get you to the nurse. You took a nasty knock back there.. But hell yah did a great job!”
He scoffed. "Some...job I did..." He sat up, wincing as his chest throbbed. He grabbed his sides with his arms and jammed his eyes shut. It felt like his rib cage would disintegrate if he moved any further. He was dizzy, too, from that blow to the head. "I didn't...even make a...dent in his..ugly face." He fell back, too weak to hold himself up anymore.
He laid there for a minute, just focusing on breathing and not passing out. Then he tried sitting up again, more slowly this time. Held onto his sides still, then looked at Kusaka. "I doubt...the nurse can do much. Get me...back to my house. Dad's a...doctor." He flinched again as he felt a stabbing pain in his left side, then started coughing furiously. Blood flew from his mouth, definitely not a good sign.
Then he did something really stupid. He tried to stand up. He got about halfway, but then his legs gave out. He fell hard on his left side which triggered another fit of bloody coughs. At this rate he was gonna bleed out. Now he couldn't even sit up. "Get...me...home..." Yeah, cause that's way easier than calling an ambulance.
((Kay, so. My suggestion is to make one more post with Kusaka, then continue the RP in the Karakura Hospital. X3))
