[ ooc: K SO UHM anyone is free to join this. We recommend any Soul Reapers to join as well <3 BTW this part of the sideplot <3] They were like a flock of sheep, their fleece as white as snow. They were silent and stealthy, not letting out a sound, not making themselves known. They passed by humans without letting them know that something was actually there. They're faceless, red heads kept forward and their red, thin hands kept in the cloud-like body. The wide blew and their fleeces swayed with it, ends curling and folding like smoke. They paused, then kept on forward. They didn't know where they were going. They did not even know what they were. They had nothing in their minds. They were just existing.
They wandered about the streets, not bothering even a fly or a speck. They were intent on roaming. Roaming to nowhere. All they knew, was that they had to go somewhere, and find their lost memories. But that was all. They were souls reduced to nothing but clean sheets of paper you could right on. They wanted to be written with their memories once more to become something again. Blanks. That was what they were. But they did not have a voice to speak it. They did not know what their identity was. They were just there. They were not Hollows, nor were they Wholes, nor where they anything else. Just Blanks, Caught in the middle. They were simply roaming the streets. No harm done.

Kira understood clearly as he'd seen them before on monitoring what these creatures looked like. They did not speak and consisted of red and white--their heads and bodies, feathery as they blew in the wind and curled lightly. Amazingly, they were peaceful but he knew it was his and other Soul Reaper's jobs to kill off the wanting but clearly silent creatures that had been named Blanks.
He wasn't quite sure why they were entitled the name of Blanks, or if it were for all the reasons he could or perhaps could not think of. They were both unaffected by soul burial and carried no Chains of Fate. They were considerably plain and quite vulnerable. They did not move to do much of anything if you were a powerful Shinigami and owned seemingly no mouths or eyes. Of course, they were blank white--like a sheet of paper. The most intriguing part of these creatures to Izuru however, was how they were attracted to memories. They were lost souls; They were souls without meaning now that they had lost what is so precious to human life.
Well, Izuru did suppose he should take back what he'd thought about them attacking others. They could self-destruct but once again, it wouldn't be to hard to get rid of them. Before or after that, they could only increase their strength. When they fought, Kira also understood that is when they showed off arms and hands. Normally they stayed in packs, as if they knew they had to be together. Stay together, in order to find what it is they truly wanted. He'd also heard they could be harnessed by Dark Ones. That he did not much want to find out about either, however.
So quietly, he floated from the blue, cloudless Spring sky. The breeze was very gentle, giving off just enough to create a perfect temperature as the sun shined brightly down upon the snow white feathers and red, pin-shaped heads of the Blanks and his own blond hair and pale skin. Most likely the others following behind him would feel the heat and breeze as well. Black oddly attracted heat, he'd always found that slightly fascinating, he supposed.
His eyes showed the same type of look they normally did--introspective and partially emotionless just as his soft, straight lips indicated as well. He kept a gentle hand upon his Zanpakutō's hilt, just in case the Blanks decided to suddenly attack at him and the ones following beside and behind him. He hadn't come to close, not until they all decided if they would just go and attack as many as they could or go with some other plan. He wasn't quite sure what the others were willing to do during this time.
In the meantime, a soft sigh escaped the small hole between both his lips, one that was barely seen. He was not tired, not bored really. His sapphire blue eyes followed the Blanks as they moved along at a surprisingly slow pace, silently, looking for memories, following someone. There had to be a reason they'd all come. His hand tightened slightly, only to lessen its grip a bit moments later.
Kira did only there was a deeper meaning, a cause to the reason all these creatures had shown up. They were such odd creatures as well, ones as stated before titled the odd name of Blanks. He supposed, now that he thought more deeply about it he did understand why.
He looked over his shoulder at the others that had followed him. He awaited for the words that would set them to go, or the plan they may have. He may be one in charge but not the only one just because he was Lieutenant. Kira definitely wanted to make sure everything was in order and everyone was here that was supposed to be before he jumped from the air in order to defeat them.

What was with all these missions lately? Not that he minded. He rather be out here doing field work instead of sitting in an office all day. The fresh breeze filled his lungs as he soared through the town, heading toward a specific location. The reasons behind him being sent here were clear: observe the Blanks and fight them off if need be. But where were they? What exactly did they look like? Why were the called that. Landing on the roof of a building, he looked down and saw nothing, just humans. Hm, wonder where these "Blanks" could be. Maybe that was just it, you couldn't see them. No no, that was stupid. Flashstepping again, he thrusted his foot off of the ceiling and flew through the air, still heading towards that one specific location. That was the last sighting of the Blanks, so might as well hone in. Sensing for Riatsu, he felt the presence of Izuru and some others, strange and not. Now who was giving off that strange spiritual pressure?
Finally, there was something out of the ordinary. By the looks of these weird blob-like creatures, they were more than likely the blanks, They were just.. well blank. They were all traveling in a big herd in one direction. They wanted to get somewhere, but where, exactly. Stopping in mid air, above the red and white being, he narrowed his eyes and thought for a moment. This was strange. Just where were they going? Why didn't they have a face or arms or legs? So weird. Looking up to Izuru.
"Any idea if they'll attack?" He inquired seriously. These things just seemed so suspicious and unpredictable. What could they be after? What kind of souls were they? So strange, and they continued to raise questions within the lieutenant's mind. He did not reach for his hilt, or anything. Right now, they seemed pretty calm, unphased by the world around them. They would pass right by humans and not be bothered. They just continued on their trek. There was a great number of them, what they were after, Hisagi wasn't sure. It must be important for them to be heading in a beeline. He rubbed the back of his head and sighed. Was he just going to stand or around and just watch them like counting sheep, or was there something more to be done here than just to observe. Did he have to get rid of them? He was sent with just an objective to be there, and no clear say in what exactly to do. Shuhei knew though, that in the end, something big would be expected, considering it seems like two lieutenants were sent on what seemed to be similar missions. Weird.
The wind would blow, and the Blanks would just keep on. They easily maneuvered around their surroundings like they weren't there at all. What strange, strange spirits they were, if they could be considered as such. Black eyes followed them, darting to each one. They were all the same, as if in uniform. Like they were all carbon copies of each other. Freaky. None of them were any different from the other. They had the same, feathery appearance to them, and the same red, pointed heads. Like white and red gnomes with no faces or much of anything else. Perhaps these weird things were so strange they startled his superiors, or maybe they were something that was actually quite dangerous that they needed to be rid of. Whatever the case, he was here, and had a mission to fulfill. Anything could set these things off though. What exactly, he needed to wait and see.

Why she had been sent on this mission instead of seated officers, she had no idea. Perhaps she was better trusted because at least two Lieutenants were present? When she had found out that Kira and Hisagi were coming, she'd had a hard time containing her glee. Though the exact details of the meeting were fuzzy, she recalled having an awesome time with the two of them and Abarai. And now she got to investigate something with them. What, exactly?
There hadn't been much of a description. Pure white, pointy heads, traveled in groups. Unknown whether they were hostile at this point. They had been dubbed...Blanks, wasn't it? Whatever. The name didn't really matter to her. She was to investigate, attack if they seemed hostile. Hell, she'd probably attack regardless. Living for so long in Zaraki did that to a person. Made them trigger-happy. She still didn’t get why she wasn’t in the Eleventh Squad like most Soul Reapers from Zaraki. Who knew, though. If she did well on this mission, maybe she’d get to change squads! She giggled a bit at the idea of getting so see Yachiru even more than she already did. That little girl was such a cutie! Well, back to the task at hand. Kira and Hisagi had stopped.
”Any idea if they’ll attack?”
The question had probably been directed at the other Lieutenant, but Kasumi didn’t much care. Hisagi hadn’t personalized the question after all! She stopped behind Hisagi and a little to the left, emerald eyes gazing down at the odd spirits as she smirked. ”Should we really wait to find out, Lieutenant Hisagi?” She’d lean forward, placing her left hand on Ryurai. ”We don’t wait for Hollows to attack. We charge right in so we can make the first blow.” Her hand tightened around Ryurai’s hilt.
Why didn’t she run to meet them, then? It was simple. Were she alone, with no superiors, she would have jumped right in. But since Kira and Hisagi were here, she’d wait for their order. Waiting was a pain in the ass, though, because with each passing moment her desire to cut something got harder and harder to resist. The small Soul Reaper looked at Hisagi, then Kira. Come ON. Lemme at ‘em already! [/color]
