12th Division Handbook
The handbook is a list of rules you all should follow when you're in the 12th Division. Inside are a list of rules (as if I haven't said that before *eye roll*), information, ranks, members, things that will be tolerated and will not be tolerated, the likes. I at least expect you to respect and actually remember the basics of the handbook.
the basics
* A word to the wise, I don't expect some moron to give this division an icy reputation. We're known for our intelligence and I'd prefer it that way. I do not want our squad to be known as a bunch of moronic fools who can't even control their own actions. When you're a part of the 12th Division, I expect you to think and know that you're representing your entire squad in a way.
* Your captain will usually make leaves to go on further with a specified goal. This means I will be known to be absent at times but that does not give you a right to just spontaneously disappear. You must inform me or my lieutenant if you are making an emergency leave. I might as well mention this reason must be important and not just the petty excuse, "I'm needed urgently--" It's just annoying to hear that. I want to hear a valid excuse, like where you're needed and the such.
* To tie in with the rule above, you should damn well know that you're going to be a busy member if you're in my squad. We're known, not only for our intelligence, but for our science. You're going to be doing a lot of research within the squad.
* Respect is another thing I'd prefer to see. Treat your squad members with the same respect you'd love to receive back. If you would want to try your luck with me and see how far that teasing can go, I'd be more than happy to turn your body into a research experiment. Just keep that in mind.
* Complaining is a real peeve of mine. I don't like to hear my own members whine to me about the smallest things. Everyone can get so worked up... With this being said, only talk to me if it truly is interrupting your schedule, work habits, etcetera. If I see it as a true bother, I'll deal with them personally. Just to also say this, try at least a little bit to get along with each other. I, in no way, see this as a problem since you're going to be normally talking with one another. But some others can get so annoyed with one another...
* Do not even try and back-talk me. If I give you an order, I expect you to do it and return to me with the results. If my lieutenant, as well, gives you an order, she will expect you to do it. Don't even try and take advantage of her...ugh...kindness. I'll know if you're not doing an order from her and you will be dealt to, personally, by me.
* The lieutenant should not be treated any lower than the captain. I tend to go off somewhere else with notifying others because I expect the lieutenant to be treated with as much as respect as you all me.
* Don't. Slack. Off.
the duties
* Konso, Hollow Cleansing, and Soul Governance whenever it is needed. I'm sure we will not be using this due to how we're usually researching and that keeps us busy enough. I feel a need to state this, though, because sometimes members will need to go out if they are needed for specific reasons. The above three could be one of those reasons.
* Training is a major thing. It is not required in the members who will dedicate their entire membership to researching, but it would be a rather smart backup plan for them in case there is a surprise attack. The rest of the members, though, should expect to train so they can last in the outside world.
* Make sure to keep everything in order. Everything needs to be organized. I will be checking in no special time patterns, which means randomly, to see if everything is neat and organized. It'd be much more comfortable for you and me if the place was more clean-- it'd be easier to move around in, research in, and the like.
the rules on fighting and sparring
* This is a consent-needed squad.
* There will most likely be little to no fighting within the squad. There is a small location within the division if you do wish to fight. If you wish to spar/fight with someone, ask them and talk it over with me. As a busy scientist, I want to inspect both of you and make sure that neither of you will cause much of a ruckus, nor will you tear the place completely apart and down to its knees.
* I will most likely decline your request to spar with me. It is not because I don't like you (no matter if that is true or not), it is because I will almost always be busy. If you so happen to catch me and request to fight, there might be a chance that I will accept. Also, to state now, Nemu is most likely not going to be free to fight as well. I will not allow her fighting solely because she is usually with me and the fact that it'd would be a pain to repair her.
* Fights usually will not be publicized. You must talk it over to me if you'd like others to watch. Just be aware, that I will sometimes be watching with Nemu even if it weren't meant to be watched by others.
the punishments
The punishments listed below will what you can be subjected to if you have broken something minor within the squad.
* A lecture from a higher up. This will be me most of the time.
* I will not hesitate in beating you around, either.
The punishments listed below will what you can be subjected to if you have broken the more major rules within the squad or Soul Society.
* Experimented on. This is my most favorite and is usually considered as a warning if it is your first offense.
* I will not hesitate in sending you away from the squad for a certain amount of time.
* Your rank or division can and WILL be stripped from you or changed.
* Execution. There isn't really a lot to say about this one. It's really common sense.
the how to join
* You must send an application to this player's main account, Sniii.
* In the application, you will have to give an explanation of why this character would be needed in the squad. I at least expect to see a good and detailed reason, not the boring "well, h/she is really smart". That does not amuse me or my player. When an application is received, I will talk it over with Nemu's player (if there is one). If there is no player for Nemu, I will decide on my own.
* If I am absent (which means I made a post on the absences board), you may still send an application to my main. Just don't expect an immediate response. If Nemu's player (if there is one) allows applications to be sent to them, as well, I will edit this post saying they do.
* If you are accepted, you will start out as an Unseated Officer.
* Do not whine to my main account if you are declined. And definitely DO NOT whine to this account. I am not playing favorites, nor will I ever. I am basing the decision on how well they would do in the division, how they could be used, how they could be depended on, and the like.
