[/size]行動規範------------> C O D E of C O N D U C TAnd it gives us sight
And we see the light
And it burned so bright
Now we know we're right
The "Code of Conduct" deals with rules about behavior, and general rules such as what is accepted and what is not accepted on the forum as a whole, as well as discussion about the warnings system and what we expect and what we don't want to see from you.
[li]1) Be courteous to other members: Please, be respectful to other members and staff. We're here to have a good time, not to cause chaos. If you don't like someone, please try and calm yourself, or just not talk to them. Let's all be mature... srsly. This includes cursing and swearing at members hatefully. That's just messed up and don't do it.
[/li][li]2) No flaming or excessive spamming: Flaming is when you bash another member excessively to the point of it being just flat our rude. Now, bashing is not good in general, but flaming is taking it to a whole new level. THERE IS A ZERO tolerance level on flaming, SO DON'T DO IT. Spamming is posting messages repeatedly when they have nothing to do with the topic title. It's annoying, and it confuses people. Don't do it.
[/li][li]3) Do not use excessive chat speak: Not all of us are fluent in the art of chat speak (i.e. OMGWTFBBQ, ROFLCOPTER etc.). I can be QUUIITE frustrating if every other word you say is chat speak. not 1337 (leet) speak either. I can hardly read it. You can use it, but like, really, not every other freaking word. DO NOOOOT use it in your posts. WE SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH IN OUR ROLEPLAYS.
[/li][li]4) Activity is Loved: No one (or, anyone who really cares) joins a site and then leaves the account to rot. One, it's pretty disappointing, and two, it takes up space. If you're not going to be active, don't join. It is understandable that you have issues going on in life that you can't be on for long periods of time or whatever, but like, at least tell us, (if you can, we don't want to pressure you). But if you KNOW that you can't be actively on, then, don't bother. You'd be wasting space.
[/li][li]5) If your characters are enemies it doesn't mean you are: Acting in this manner is incredibly STUPID, and not to mention rude and just retarded. Don't do it.
[/li][li]6) Cursing and swearing is allowed under certain circumstances: You do not use it towards other members hatefully (discussed briefly on #1 & 2). I mean come on, we all curse at each other right? (e.i. You're such a fucktard <3) But please don't use this privilege to go telling everyone to go eff themselves. That's not tolerated. You're characters may do that, but not you, the actual player.[/li][/ul]
[li]1) NO WAY under any situation may you godmod: Please do not take control of other peoples characters when roleplaying, and also make sure that you play your character in a fair manner. Meaning that your character can not dodge every hit, or survive wounds that would in fact kill the character. If you want such things to happen, I GO ON MY HANDS AND KNEES and TALK TO WHOEVER YOU'RE RPING WITH. They might think it's cool, but, please in form us somewhere in your post OOCly that you have permission so that we don't penalize you. We do not want to restrict those imaginative juices in that big ol' cranium of yours <3
- a) This also goes for when making a character. Don't make your character freaking Jesus and making said character have these supercoolio powers that can obliterate the universe or is resistant to injuries and shit. Really? Don't stoop so low. Yes, you can make a strong character, but please don't make a character that is resilient to EVERYTHING. It's annoying, low, and not fair. Let's have some decency, people.
[/li][li]3) Daisuke is an intermediate and up roleplaying site: We expect that you type at LEAST 300 words in your post in total, or at least 3 decent sized paragraph. Don't leave whoever you're RPing with hanging because you didn't leave enough for them to do with your ant-sized post. I understand not everyone can write novels or write walls of text, but please, no one liners or mini posts. Understand you have to have at least a decent knowledge of RPing to survive here.
[/li][li]4) Try and keep your threads active: I think everyone find it incredibly annoying when there are in active threads spread around the forum and roleplay boards like a disease. There is a board where you may post your absences and stuff so we know what you're doing and stuff so we don't archive or delete and inactive thread by accident.
- a) NOW if you can't post somewhere because you're lazy, then we're going to have to move in and do something about it. NOT PUSH YOU TO POST but like, move the thread. If it gets moved and you're not done with it, PM a staff member about it.
[/li][li]5) Beware of no-consent areas and squads!: No-consent means that your character has a chance of being killed off without your permission. Don't worry, they should have good reasons as to why they would do such, but, in reality, they don't need one (would be polite if they did but yeah). You have been warned. But come on, isn't it fun when you're character has the chance of being attacked or something? XD *bad humor*[/li][/ul]
[li]1) Make separate accounts for each of your characters: This way it is much easier to follow Rps, and it also means you can better suit said accounts to your characters.
- a) You can, however, have your main account as a roleplay account for one character. It could be only one character, or only one out of a lot.
[/li][li]2) You may only have 4 canon characters: Just so people don't hog them all up. Yes. 4. Four, cuatro, cuatro, vier, whatever language.
- a) BUT You may have as many ORIGINAL characters as you want. Just make sure they are ALL active enough and not rotting in your character bin. Poor poor characters. Yeah, that means we will have random character checkings in the bios as to get rid of clutter and stuff. I know it may seem harsh but, yeah. Bear with us.
[/li][li]3) While we're on the subject of 3's, Three strikes your out: Yep. If you have been warned 3 times by a staff member about misconduct, or whatever, you will be banned. Seriously. We don't want to do it, but to keep order and peace on the forum and to teach you a lesson, we must do it.
[/li][li]4) Enough about 3s, let's talk about account content: Now, as we all know, one account for each character, right? Alrighty, we suggest you put somewhere in your profile, whether it be in the personal quote or signature, that the account is played by you (i.e. Bob is the main account, Bill the the side account, in it's signature it says "played by Bob" or whatever) just so we know, and so the general public knows, who plays who and we're not all going crazy with confusion.
[/li][li]5) Avatars can be any size but no larger than 100x100, and signatures can be anysize but no larger than 300 pixels high and 500 pixels wide
[/li][li]6) Do not make a canon character account before you try out for them. Make a main account, and if you win a canon character, then you may change the main account/make a new one to the canon. The reason for this is just to insure that there will be no confusion.
- a) PM a mod to get a Custom title. Tell the moderators EXACTLY what you want, right then, because we're not going to keep changing it every five seconds. We're not a slave to your every whim. We have more important things to do on the forum, most likely. If you want to chance it after a good amount of time has passed, then sure, we may help. That is, if we're not busy.
[/li][li]5) Try not to have anything inappropriate in your profile: Seriously, nothing that might potentially make someone shit nails out of fear, or anything that might make someone feel uncomfortable or potentially offensive. We don't want to start debates and shit. Yeah let's AVOID that, and we can start by keeping out accounts free of anything offensive or inappropriate. Be considerate of the general public please.
[/li][li]6) Each character account will be assigned a certain position, rank, wtf, etc.: This is just to make our lives easier and it gives your characters some sort of title t go by. Like, someone from the Rukongai might have "Rukongai Resident" as a member title, or "1st Division Unseated Officer" as just examples. This is just to know who is what and all that stuff. Let your characters be an individual for crying out loud! LOL (this will actually be a required field to fill out when making a character profile)
[/li][li]7) Don't think you can escape doom by creating havoc on a side account: We're smart and we can figure out who's who. It is required you put somewhere in your profile that you say who's played by who on side accounts. We can just trace that. Don't change your name. We have skills. *not joking*. You will get the warning or banishment you need if you really need it. Don't try anything sneaky. You'll look like a fool when you get caught.[/li][/ul]
THAT'S all. Come on, let's all be mature about this, alright? I'm sure we're all here to have fun, right (hopefully)?
Please respect the rules and staff. We only want what's best and to keep the forum running smoothly.
Have a nice life <3
