“Huh, well, you're hungry or something? Why waste your time on something so weak~? Come oooon, this is where you'll find something better to gnaw on.”
It perked it's head slightly, releasing a small hiss. Oh? It looked at the dark haired young man who was shifting himself to the giant wall in front of them. It tilted it's head slightly. What was beyond that wall? The Soul Reaper said there was more prey to pester. Better, stronger prey, he promised. Hm, wonder if he was right...
The Hollow followed Kusaka like a dog, while keeping distance, it still followed, standing very hunched over to follow more easily. It was soon realized though that this was the same place it had met that older Soul Reaper. Yes... it was this place. It was all worn down a bit, had many huts and such. It licked it's teeth slightly. Neh, the blood of that boy was gross. Should have never tried and attack that Rukon boy...
As it followed though, before they could get past the gate, it it stopped short and shrieked. It's pressure raised a bit, but not because it was voluntary, but because the Hollowfication was progressing. It fell back to it's four limbs and swung it's head down, trying to heave up something. Like last time, the white foam spilled out from Toshiro's mouth and melted down to his neck and shoulders, it was slow moving, but it was getting there. And, like before, it was bothering it. It curled it's fingers into the ground, finding this somewhat painful. It panted heavily as many moments passed and the Hollowfication became quicker and quicker. But as it did so, it became less uncomfortable, and so it chose to stand again with it's hunch and follow the Soul Reaper past the gate. The more this continued, the more Toshiro was lost.
Further down in his own mind the boy would become. No one was supporting his side of things, and so he was fighting by himself. Something of equal power was trying to shove him back. You'd expect stalemate, but this was far from it. Right now, the Hollow was winning. Checkmate it was, one more wrong move and Toshiro could perhaps be lost forever. To the Hollow of his soul he would lose to, and his identity as a Soul Reaper would be lost. Right now, he was trying to keep it so that he was only pushed back, and not overcame. As least when pushed back, he was able to return. The other, well, it was over.
As they past through the gate, the thing growled a bit, it's jaws somewhat ajar as it fell back to it's limbs. It looked around. It could sense the clusters of spiritual pressure. They were similar to the Soul Reaper in front of him. was it because... this was full of Soul Reapers? It could not tell whether that was a good thing or a bad thing. It initially thought that they were bad, but after meeting two, both of which seemed to be a bit trustful, it was easing up, but still, it still had a craving it had to curb. And like any Hollow, it would want something with at least an iota of spiritual pressure. Soul Reapers were chock-full of them, weren't they? It hissed and flick it's head to the side to the lead Soul Reaper, in asking to what was this place. It seemed rather strang-- it shrieked before a long, thick tail protruded from behind him. It panted slightly and thrashed it. Further and further Toshiro went down, but he wasn't totally lost yet.
His nails became longer and sharper, becoming a blue color, the same blue his mask markings had. It's eyes looked around, somewhat anxious. It was not sure what to do really. It moved around ahead quickly, but strangely no one seemed to be up and about, how weird. Someone was bound to, surely. But as of now there wasn't anyone. Trying to entice, the white and blue almost-fully-Hollow Hollow raised it's pressure slightly, trying to get some Soul Reapers in the area to jump out and attack. Hm, how would this go? A loud hiss as released. Seems hunger overcame fear.

Well it seemed that he'd at least gained the thing's attention on the matter, that was a positive in his eyes. The thing most certainly seemed to be far more mellow than it had previously.. No, perhaps mellow was the wrong term, it was probably only calmer than it had been. Before it had been new, so everything was a threat, everything was strange, it was still at the point where it was trying to grasp the fact that it existed. Or perhaps it didn't, like Kusaka it was there and yet at the same time not. It was only a part of this world when it forced itself to be a part of something other than its prison. Yes it was there, but it would never be accepted to be there, it wasn't meant to be, and yet by some dreadful misfortune it was there and alone. Did it care though? He didn't know, nor did he care. The thing was following him like some kind of dog, only stopping as apparently the hollowfication pressed on further. Despite this... He didn't turn back. He knew what was happening, and yet he had no desire to see. His creation yes, something he was willing to use, however make no mistakes, to him it was some vile mutt that never should have come into existence.
Evidently despite being seemingly different to most hollows the base was still the same, it was hungry and so it was damn well going to hunt. It was amusing though, it was all to willing to rip apart the very people who the boy no doubt sought to protect, sad yes, but Kusaka really couldn't give a fuck when all was said and done. His concern was not with these people, they'd taken their lot, every single one of them being as bad as the other, they'd taken their lot in life and this would be their punishment, such a very brutal one~ The thing was.. Yes the hollow was stupid, just some dumb animal, but behind that was the strength of a captain class soul reaper. It'd take another of his strength, or a freaking big group of lower class soul reapers. Really, they could only e thankful the thing didn't know how to use hyorinmaru, frankly they'd be totally ass fucked if it did, but whatever, this set up would work well enough. No doubt if Hitsugaya remembered he'd give up his damn perseverance with his so called 'help'. Just another positive.
Seeing it stop he cocked a brow and turned. "Here~?" He shrugged with a yawn. "Whatever, just don't get killed now~" If it died, Toshiro died, and despite all the hate, all the anger, all the hurt... He didn't want that. Whether seen or not he did care in his own way, yes he didn't show it, yes he'd lash out when he tried to get close, and by hell he'd take his anger out on the short captain, but by right that was what he had to do. The world had become to cold for him, nothing but negativity could exist in these icy plains, anything that tried to would just join the towering glaciers that had all but expanded to swallow the warmth. Heat, pleasure, joy, they weren't felt, each of them being cut down by him. Hope though, that one hurt, the sting of ice cracking only to freeze stronger when that misgiven hope was torn away, that hurt, incredibly so. There was little wonder he'd become so defensive, so angry, so... Volatile, keeping others away was all he could do.
As the thing's pressure rose he pulled his fringe from his face. "Weeeell, have fine, I'll be just up there~" With that he pounced back onto a nearby roof, sitting down with a grunt. He had no need to get involved with soul reaper's, nor caught up with a rampaging hollow. Quickly though the pressure of several... Perhaps three? Mhm, three~ Not enough to contend by any stretch of the imagination, sucked to be them to be honest, more so as they came out into a clearer view~
"Hollow? What's a hollow doing here?!" "Calm down and surround it, it's just one hollow," responded an apparently more senior officer. "Yessir!"
Surrounding the mutt it seemed to the violet eyed youth that they really had no idea what they were actually dealing with, if they did then there would be no way three simple idiots would be trying to deal with it, ahhh such a pity for them. Set in place though he could only watch with a grim sort of amusement, this was going to hell very fast, he had no doubt. "Hum, Reimei!" With that the makeshift leader's blade cast itself out, gaining a split prong to the end before he swung it in the hollow's direction, fire lashing out rather elegantly.
How futile it all was
ACTIONS BITCH CB Having so many may get confusing soooo imma use this method to make it clear xD Kusaka: Sat watching on a roof out of the way <3 Soul reaper 1: Surround; 12 feet away Soul reaper 2: Surround; 13 feet away Soul reaper 3: Shikai mothah fuckah, sending a short stream of fiah toward his mask; 10 feet away

"Here~? Whatever, just don't get killed now~ Weeeell, have fun, I'll be just up there~"
Momentarily, the Hollow simply stood and watched the youth jump to a near by roof before quickly losing interest. There was something of even greater interest, and that was the arrival of some Soul Reapers. It huffed, clicking it's teeth together and looking in the direction of where they were. It's thick tail lashed a bit, a long, blue, pointed tongue drooping out of it's mouth before becoming very intrigued at the Soul Reapers before it. Hm, two of them seemed weaker, while there was one that seemed stronger. Standing there on all fours, it waited, the white form still enveloping Toshiro's body, slowly, but, surely. A sad thing for anyone who would care, considering the more the Hollowfication progressed, the more lost Toshiro's mind would become, and if too long as a full Hollow, he would be lost forever.
"Hollow? What's a hollow doing here?!" "Calm down and surround it, it's just one hollow..." "Yessir!"
It perked it's reptilian head slightly. Just what were they talking about. Now if only it could really fully understand--
"Hum, Reimei!"
The spiritual pressure rose from that Soul Reaper, making seem even more appetizing. Shrieking, it reared back slightly, watching the flames as they came up closer, the Hollow waited until the last moment before it leaped forward with a flashstep and appeared behind the stronger man, leaping behind to force him to the ground, long blue nails piercing his skin. The two other Soul Reapers noticed their leader's distress and came in to attack the Hollow. It hissed loudly and thrashed it's tail to knock one to the side while it turned it's head in the direction of the other and opened it's jaws, a red center of energy quickly forming. It was charging up a Cero, a powerful Hollow technique. The Soul Reaper hesistant on moving, not sure what it was going to do. The Hollow then released the energy, sending a blast of bright red, evil energy to the man, killing him instantly. Oh damn, it incinerated what it was going to consume, oh well--
It shrieked as it narrowly avoided a swing from one of the subordinate Soul Reapers, jumping off the man it was pinning and skidded on the ground, digging claws in to slow itself down. Both men stood and readied their zanpakuto. The Hollow released a loud reptilian roar as it turned it's head back and clamped down on the purple sheath, sharp blue and black eyes watching the remaining Soul Reapers charge for it, swinging their swords. Though before they could come any closer, the Hollow swung its head, dragging the long blade out of it's dark blue sheath and scraping it against the ground, sending not only sparks, but a wave of pure ice their way, spiking up from the ground like pillars. They both were caught up with it, only their heads being spared. Struggling to break free, the Hollow pun the sword back and climbed on top of the ice, making it's way to their positions, them trying to break free from their icy prison.
Approaching them, it drooled slightly, tongue hanging from it's jaws and looking at them intently. Wasting no other time, it lunged it's fangs into the next of the stronger one and bit down hard, swiftly killing him. It then let go and looked at the other, and did the same. It knew full well that any yelling would attract other Soul Reapers that were unwanted, it covered their mouths when it attacked and made sure to bite down so hard it severed their spines. If this were any other time, it would not care, but it was still wary of Soul Reapers, so a large group would startle it. Finally settled it hissed and began to consume the stronger of the small group that was presented before it.
It was all just so ironic. Hitsugaya, a boy of leadership and sophistication was rudeced to this. Forced to be something he really was not, and attack the very people he was actually meant to protect and lead. Little did they know who this was though. If they didn't focus on it just being a Hollow- the mask-, then perhaps they would have noticed the white, poofed hair, and the legs that were dressed with the black hakama of a Soul Reaper's, as well as the zanpakuto that was famous throughout all of the Soul Society that was mounted on it's back. Probably the only good thing- if it was a good thing- that would become of all this was the fact that Hitsugaya, at the end of it all, would not remember a thing. He was spared from all the bloodshed he had caused and the action of consuming another Soul Reaper. How screwed up was this world?
It's mask was now stained with blood and it was now satisfied, only half-eating one of it's victims, and not even touching the others. It licked the teeth of it;s mask to clean some of the blood off and jumped off the mound of ice, letting out a bellowing screech with the thrash of a tail as the left side of it;s chest began to burn intensely. Without any other action, a small hole burned through, an even louder shriek being released. There was a Hollow hole in the lest side of his chest, just where a heart would be. It thrashed it's head as the dove white hair that was Toshiro's grew a bit longer and curved upwards, more hair growing down along it's spine, some longer tufts hanging over the shoulders. they bristled as the Hollow thrashed it's tail against the tiled grown, the tile cracking and breaking off easily. Hitsugaya was trying his very best to try and combat the Hollow of his soul, but it was ever so difficult. The thing was of equal power, and it for some reason had a great influence over him. Around Ukitake, this wasn't so hard. He had felt it trying to arise once and easily pushed it down, but once he was around Kusaka, it felt like a train was going against him. It was so hard. There was no one to support him, only support on the Hollow's end, and for that Kusaka was making the wrong choice.
It looked up at the dark-haired death god and wondered just what in the hell was he doing just sitting there. A reptilian like creature following around Kusaka like some sort of demented pet, what was this? It was blasphemy almost, but the young man had had sworn protection from other forces if it obeyed him like such. It was in it's way, messed up, but at least it would be getting something in return. Bah, whatever. It hissed loudly before it scampered down a long a small road and then lurked within the shadows. Luckily the moon wasn't out, so whatever light the moon would present would not be shown. The only thing that would give the Hollow away would be it's blue markings, that took angular shapes and it's glowing eyes, sharp blue, narrowed irises standing out from the black that surrounded the eye opening. It paused and heard something. It looked back to see if the violet-haired Soul Reaper was behind him before looking forward. It wasn't going anywhere in particular, but it paused for a final time and crouched down, as if waiting for something.[/font]

There was really fairly little interest to him as he looked on, they were doomed, from the very start they were never meant to succeed. It was a sad lot in life, but hey, that's what the soul society had people like this for, right? Canon fodder, nothing more. Their real priority was in their so very dear captains, ohhh of course he knew they were the real driving force of this place, without them the soul society would ultimately fall. Casting his eyes over the small hollow one would have perhaps heard a dull grunt from him, it seemed that already one of their twelve had fallen. The balance they'd destroyed him for really didn't seem to be at play here. A captain fighting with soul reapers with the soul intent to devour them. Yes, he was so very pleased to see that balance they'd held so dear had done so very much for anyone. Pft, it was all just a load of crap, all of it having come back to bite them in their asses. He'd take that damn balance of theirs and show them where the fuck they could go and shove it.
Watching with interest for the first time he couldn't help but be a tad bit shocked that the thing was actually able enough to use its zanpakuto. Perhaps underestimating it was a mistake... No, that much he doubted. It was a hollow, nothing more, one that right now he had suitably leashed. Of course it could break free and come back to bite him, perhaps it was nothing more than he really had coming for playing the games he did. However even so he had little worry, so long as it stayed in his graces until he'd done as he pleased there was little bother to him. That was the thing though, once he had what was he to do? He'd still have nothing other than the satisfaction that he'd ripped them down. Was he to go back to the human world? A place where he'd outlive every single person he came across by thousands of years. No, that place, he felt nothing for it. This world? No, he'd rather be here, but even with them gone he'd still be killed at sight, leaving him nothing here. And so that left the hollow's plain... But did he want that either...? No... In three worlds he had nothing and nowhere, right low he could lie to himself, yet life had a nasty habit of crashing down on you.
Just as it had for the two reapers before him. Simply turning to look at the tall white tower not so far in the distance. As morbid and vile as he was he had so little desire to watch some beast ripping someone apart, it frankly wasn't at all something he cared for in the slightest, no. Whilst he didn't care for the soul reapers, nor their fate, even he found the concept of a soul reaper consuming another of their kind to be... Strange. He'd not stop it, but not support it. It was the way of the world, that he knew well enough, however that didn't so much mean that he at all cared for the way it worked, he'd already proven that he wasn't so fond of how it all worked in the grand scheme of things, and that was why he pushed on now, forcing himself deeper into a corner so that soon he may be slaughtered for all he'd done in the name of justification. Would it be worth it? To him, yes. There was little doubt though that no other would find the same belief in him. He cared not, his reasons were his own, and no other would ever see them, no other ever could. Why? Because they were to thick headed to see past what was before them. Those that should have seen never did, and that.... Was life...
Finished her slanted an eye to watch the commotion as the thing jumped down before flailing like an angry beaver. Tsk, damn thing. Whatever. Giving a short grumble he easily shifted, dropping from the roof to land with only a soft thump as the thing scampered off quickly. Oh well that was wonderful, really it was. Grunting he pointed toward the ice. “Byakurai.” To that response a sharp blue bolt crashed through the ice, shattering and melting it. At this point evasion was still key, whilst he had little issue with Toshiro getting nailed for what he was he'd not have unwanted attention coming to him. Attention the ice of hyorinmaru would no doubt bring. With that done all that was left was to follow the damn thing on it's merry path, something he had no problem at all doing, especially as the freaking thing stopped before giving a brief turn. He'd have been relieved if that had been his main center of focus, it was however not. No, what really caught his attention was the sounds of voices ahead, their pressures coming into focus. There were far more this time, though... That was of little worry. “Low your pressure down,” he quipped up, coming to the things side before grabbing at it's collar, not much caring If he also took the things longer mane. “Bite me and I'll kick your ass~” That said if he did take hold of it he'd turn, leaping up onto a roof before moving well out of the way. Either they were attracted by this hollow's little show, or by the commotion he'd sensed prior whilst sat upon the roof, there was no doubt it was the Vizard... Wonderful~ Despite this though he had little desire to get caught by so many soul reapers, yes they would fail, however killing them all would not go unnoticed. Pity really.

The thing raised it's body a bit as something twinged at its senses. It's jaws became ajar and now voices came into range. It began to step forward. Oh, there was a group of them, huh? The Hollow wanted in, it's hunger still not completely curbed. Though before it could to take another step, it yelped loudly and slouched it's body and reared it's head back as it opened it's jaws wider. What the hell was this Soul Reaper doing? He was pulling at the longer hair on his neck, and it was a bit painful. It looked at Kusaka and threatened to bite, but stopped as he said threatening words.
“Low your pressure down. Bite me and I'll kick your ass~”
At first, the creature refused to comply to words. It was displeased with the pain it was receiving, though it shrieked as the Soul Reaper carried him away from where the enemy Soul Reapers were coming from. It was then that it finally did, but now it was beginning to be a bit annoyed with the Soul Reaper that it had chosen to follow. It struggled a bit, wanting the dark-haired death god to let go. It hissed and had it's jaws ajar once more, it's way of saying that it was going to bite if it didn't. Bright blue irises locked on to the Soul Reaper's purple and thumped it's tail a bit aggressively. It had complied to the death god, and now it was his turn to at least listen to what it wanted, even if just for one time. It shook it's head as something else twigged. Not only was Hitsugaya pressing against the Hollow side, but something was bothering it. Something external...
The sheets Hitsugaya had used to cover his identity had blown away, the Hollow discarding it right before it went to devour the previous two Soul Reapers. But that was not what was bothering it. It turned it's head to the side to see someone pinned up against a building, blood being speared downwards. The outfit the man wore was identical to the old death god it had met back in the Rukongai earlier in the day. that must mean it had been a powerful one, but, no spiritual energy had been emitting from it. It was surely a corpse then, no matter, it would be a nice snack. though, there was still the issue of the violet-eyed Soul Reaper holding on to him like some sort of cat. It tugged in the direction it was looking in and hissed. It then turned it's head and snapped at him, becoming incredibly annoyed. Though it should have thought about the consequences for trying to bite the hand that fed it. It was a Hollow though, it wasn't going to just roll over like a dog and obey all the time. Before hand, when it was really frightened and unaware of everything around it, the Soul Reaper's help was needed. His promise of protection. And what of now? Now it had become more calm about matters and was beginning to develop typical Hollow behavior. It was practicing them, to see if they worked and to hone them so it could survive. Though the killer instinct was not all there. Not only was it not fully there, but Hitsugaya was pushing that part of it down as well, to prevent that behavior from developing any further.
But it wanted to see that strong Soul Reaper's corpse that was up on the wall. The Soul Reaper was holding it back. It wanted him to go away for just one second. It raised it's pressure quite a bit out of irritation. Perhaps a bit too much, it being to the point where there was clearly a Hollow in the area. Something was just exciting it a bit. Of the Soul Reaper could beat the Hollow down to calm down, then so be it. It would resist a bit, but, in the end it would perhaps obey. It still had to follow Kusaka if it still wanted the protection.

Grumbling as the damn thing made the trilling noise it was so fond of he narrowed his eyes, expectantly waiting for the freaking thing to lower its pressure, which it did. Well at least the damn thing knew when to listen, really he didn't much want for those damn fools getting involved, ohhh hell no. He knew well enough the thing was less than amused and being grabbed, angry at the notion he was pulling its hair. Yet he really couldn't say he cared. If he damn let the thing go then it was utterly possible, probable even, that the damn thing would just go trotting back and cause hell. Now yes it would probably survive, they'd die, he had no problem with that detail, no, his issue was more within the fact that it would just go stupidly wrong. Yes it felt so wrong for him to be turning and running from.... these things, yet he was. It was a freaking thing he had to to else destroy everything he was pushing toward. There was no choice but to turn tail, not doing so would cost him far more, more than he was willing to give. More than anyone had any right to take.
As the thing snapped though he growled. “Big mistake dumbass,” he hissed before trying to ram the thing down against the ground. He'd warned it, and he had every damn intent of holding true to what he'd said. Whilst yes it hadn't bit him it had tried, and whilst he'd tolerated it on their first meeting now he had no intention of doing so now. If the thing had to learn the hard way that he wasn't putting up with its crap then that was fine. “What did I tell you?” With that he'd draw his blade, attempting to touch it to the base of the thing's skull. “We do this my way, or not at all, simple.” Trying to put further force into pinning it he growled slightly. “Make no mistakes, I'll protect you only so long as you listen. Stop doing that and I've little doubt there's a few people here who'd... Love to meet you.” It was a simple threat, but one he was all to likely to hit home. It may have had an empty twinge to it, but there was no way at all for the mutt to know that. As far as it was concerned he was utterly serious.
That said and done he'd stand, retaining his grip on the thing.... Only to have the thing hissing and pulling. With a blink he sighed, looking in said direction before cocking a brow, well that was most certainly interesting... Oooor not, all he saw was some damn well. What the fuck was it getting so worked up about. “It's just a wall,” he grunted nonchalantly, turning his attention away to watch as the last of the soul reapers trooped on. It was amusing really, none of them would be enough, even as a swarm such as they were in at present they'd do little good. They were against a hollowfied captain and lieutenant, even a captain would struggle. Oh what it was like to be the one holding the cards~ There was nothing they could do, nothing at all they would be able to accomplish with it. Really he couldn't help but find their insignificance to be amusing, they were trying so very hard only to gain nothing from it. They were following their leaders to their death, how amusing, and how foolish. One could only trust yourself, no other should be taken into the equation, they'd always let you down. It was how things always turned out, give trust to someone and they cut you, paining you so very much.
As it's pressure rose though he swung his arm in every attempt to hurl the damn thing in the direction it seemed to interested in, frankly he couldn't see why, there was nothing damn well there. Whatever. Grumbling he jumped down, stalking forward to pat the wall, there was absolutely nothing there, it was just another freaking wall, ugh, this thing was retarded. “It's a wall, have you never seen one before or something?” He growled in a sarcastic drawl. Really he couldn't be assed with this, there were far better things he could be doing but feh, if the thing wanted to piss around with a god damn wall then it was welcome to, right up until the point he got bored, once that happened they were going, no questions. The damn thing should be thankful he was giving this much lenience after the damn crap it had just tried to pull on him. What the fuck ever, he couldn't be assed with this shit any more.

“Big mistake dumbass. What did I tell you? We do this my way, or not at all, simple. Make no mistakes, I'll protect you only so long as you listen. Stop doing that and I've little doubt there's a few people here who'd... Love to meet you.”
It shrieked loudly as it was pinned, fur that was along his beck and spine bristled upwards as it could feel the blade close to his head. It's tail thrashed behind it as a loud hiss was sound the whole time. It wanted him to get off. Fine, as long as the young man got off in the end. He was becoming quite annoying for the small Hollow. Fine. It calmed down and just let him keep hold. Tch, who did this Soul Reaper think he was anyway? What kind of right did he have dragging it around like this anyway? This is why they should be hated. Because they thought they were above everything else. Whatever. It hissed quietly as they moved onward again.
“It's just a wall.”
Did he really not see the body? It was right there, right there! It continued to tug and screech as it was anxiously waiting to be let go so it could investigate the bloody scene of a man pinned up on the wall, as if the body was some sort of picture frame of an ugly scene. It's tail thrashed behind it as it tugged, the pull on his neck hair causing it pain, but it ignored such pain. Did the Soul Reaper really honestly not see the dead man, hanging from the wall by only his blade impaled against his chest with blood stained like a bloody massacre on the wall behind and his garbs stained crimson? Obviously not, he didn't care. It pushed it's feet against the ground to try and be freed by the Soul Reaper's grasp, but that didn't work out. Instead, the bastard threw him at the wall, perhaps having an arm a bit too strong. The Hollow hit the wall, it's head ricocheted off the wall, one of the horns snapping off and that side obtaining one large crack that ran along that whole side down to the fangs. It slumped down as it's bright blue eyes dimmed slightly. It had a new-found disliking of the death god that had took it under it's wing.
It slowly rose, lifting itself with it's arms, staring at the ground, eyes lacking the brightness it formally had. it looked at the wall warily, figuring the death god just wanted it to calm down, or something else. Whatever it was, the Hollow now had a bone to pick, and it was going to damn well do it. It slowly turned to face the Soul Reaper and hissed loudly before snapping it's jaws open, releasing a very loud reptilian screech. It thumped it's tail on the ground, the flooring cracking and the pieces flinging upwards. It's hair bristled and stood on end as much as it would go, clearly angered, annoyed, and felt rather betrayed. Though while it felt all this, it also felt lightheadedness, the mask being cracked and a part of it fallen off, loosening the grip on Hitsugaya's mind and body. Toshiro's half of things began to press against the Hollow's grip, and pretty soon the crack would deepen and spread on it's own, resulting in the mask just shattering, returning Hitsugaya.
But that would be later down the road. Right now, the thing still had a pretty strong hold on the boy, and it was going to use it's body to do what it wanted, and to hopefully control the body for good. Thankfully this death god had no concept of that, considering he allowed it to let it keep control of the body for this long, but, for how long exactly? It was only a matter of time. The Hollow slowly stalked towards the Soul Reaper before trying to keep itself as high as it could on all fours. It stopped though, keeping a small bit of distance, hissing at him with it's jaws wide open, ready to snap down if the Soul Reaper did anything stupid or anything else to threaten it. It then rose to two legs, it's backed hunched over considerably. It wasn't going to put up with this man's crap for much longer. It then snapped at him again, but this time with much more aggression it in than previously.

As the thing collided heavily with the fall his hand came up to meet his head, okay, screw everything he'd thought prior, this thing was just damn well retarded. I mean come on, if you were going towards a wall you'd make at least some effort to stop yourself, but noooope. Instead of trying to stop itself it just let itself keep going until its head freaking hard on the wall, the cracking of mask ringing out as this all went one. To be honest it was perhaps laughable, in itself it was amusing, yet only in the sadistic way. The reacting it actually got was a snort and a roll of the eyes. He really couldn't stand this thing, less so when it damn well acted like some retarded puppy all of the time, as it was doing so now. The irony of the fact someone so smart as Toshiro would be reduced to something so pathetic as this was just... Wow, really he wasn't so sure he knew what to say to it. Of course he found it amusing, yet in the end he just didn't know, and wasn't that the best part of all of this~? Knowing yet not, being alive but dead. Life was pretty much the biggest freaking oxymoron in existence~
There was a dull moment in which he couldn't help but wonder what the hell was so special about that wall. He saw nothing but the wall, there was nothing at all special about it at all. Yet once again the thing had it's attention on the wall, it's now dulled blue eyes locked upon it. He just couldn't work it out. He couldn't feel anything special about it at all, nor could he see anything! This thing was fucking well high, that or he wasn't as good with the hogyoku as he'd thought. Now he'd thought he'd had it pretty much nailed, but this was just to strange, even by his aspect of the word. Hollows focused on one thing, consuming souls, a simple wall wouldn't be of that much interest to a hollow. And yet for some reason this one was, this one was of interest to a creature who's only concern was when the next meal would come, thus this whole thing just confounded him to the highest degree. Is it turned though he couldn't help but notice the sharp crack sprawling down the mask... Oh dear now~
Then it seemed everything that had been long since coming came, the mutt turned on him, inching closer before snapping out. The malicious intent this time greater than prior. With a sneering frown he moved out of the way in a swift motion, promptly drawing his blade to point it at the thing. It seemed that words had become useless against the thing, and so he'd waste no more on this god damn abomination. No instead he'd just end the damn thing for now, he'd gotten his point across, and this whole freakish obsession with the wall was just rubbing him up all the wrong ways. With a flash step aided pounce he moved forward and swung down hard toward the things mask as he simply attempted to break the thing. There was more than likely enough force in the blow to cause damage to the underlying face, but... Well he couldn't give a fuck, in honesty he really just didn't care about this thing. He wanted it gone. It had served it's present purpose and so he no longer wanted the damn thing out and free. Tsk.

The thing shrieked as it jumped back quickly to avoid the swing of the Soul Reaper's blade. It saw how fast he was moving, and how hard he was swinging. It knew it was now infuriated with him. Feh, whatever. It swished it's tail behind hit, licking it's teeth and crouching down, more as a form of surrender than leaping. Fine, it'll stop. It figured out the Soul Reaper wanted it vanquished from this world. It did not want to go back to the mind of Toshiro's locked away never to see the light of day, or, at least Toshiro would figure out a way to make that happen. It inched back slowly. It didn't want to disappear. No, why? It had actually tasted life. It had been out longer than it ever has before, and it wasn't going to give all this up so easily. It figured the best way was to just back off. Though there was another thought. the dark-haired man probably didn't want it around anymore. Why were Soul Reapers so hard to read anyway? He didn't want the thing? Then why promise all those things from before--
It seemed as though the Soul reaper actually did manage to cut through the mask. Not deep, but enough to crack it. The crack slowly appeared as it opened up all the way down it's mask, like a border diving one half with the other half. The thing's eyes dimmed even more, almost as if it had no color now. It lead out a high pitched screech as it reared back and covered it's face with it's hands, trying to keep it together. But it was of no use, it detached and fell apart anyway, the halves falling and shattering even further. It's hands were on the ground, supporting it's body from the ground. It slowly looked up. Toshiro's face was now revealed. Though his skin was snow white, just like the rest of his skin. His irises were still the sharp blue, and the sclera pitch black. Not an expression was on it. It was just blank, as if nothing was clicking in his mind at all. Just, nothing. It was faced at Kusaka, as if it were stick like that. Hitsugaya's mind, along with the Hollow's, were stuck in the middle of dominance or subordinance, which was the cause of the blankness Toshiro was showing.
Eventually it became clear who was more dominant. A huge crack suddenly appeared along the boy's face, a very shocked expression immediately thrown up. The cracks spread throughout his body until finally, it all shattered apart. All that was the Hollow's fell off, shattering like porcelain on the ground. The long mane that he had grown a s a hollow fell off as well, and his normal form had revealed itself. Like a shell, it fell off. He was normal now. Finally. It seemed like ages. Hitsugaya was trying so hard to regain control, and now he found it again. He wasn't sure how, but he found it, and that was all that mattered now. Well, partially. As soon as he fully regained control there was a long pause before he began to gasp for breath as if he had just been saved from drowning. He fell over to his side and curled up slightly, feeling so cold, so hurt. The Hollow had been in control for a much longer time span than the previous two times, and it was taking a toll on his body. Kusaka was not of imortance in his mind, only getting over all this phsyical pain he was currently going through. He would get over it quickly, but for now, there he lay.

Sooooo it was giving up now? Tough shit, really, to bad. If the thing hadn't wanted to fight with him it shouldn't have started in the first place, he'd warned it. Whether reasonable of him or not he continued, he was sick of the thing, whilst it hadn't really even come close to hurting him the gesture itself was enough for him, enough for him to not just drop it. In the core he was... Bitter, angry, twisted so badly that many would have just... Broken. Whilst he'd broken at least he'd salvaged himself, though perhaps this was hardly a good thing for anyone else, perhaps it would have been better had he not. Tsk, people were so closed minded, they never really saw the bigger picture. He'd been exactly the same, only seeing what he wanted to see, thinking what people told him to. He was so very naive, such an idiot for ever thinking that following the views of another was a good idea, that it would ever do him any good. He supposed it worked for some, but really what did they at all know? Nothing? Tsk, just as he suspected. They were weak for being infatuated with the views of others, slaves to society. It was just so much better to be a slave to hatred instead.
He at least got a positive thwunk as the tip of his blade caught the mask, cracks spreading out across the white features. Stepping back he cocked a brow, watching the thing writhing about, evidently in pain. Did he much care? No. The thing had made its own mistakes, it would damn well shoulder them. That was the thing about life though, was it not? No one else would take your mistakes, you had to, you were the only one responsible for them, you had to bare your own pain, no one else would do it for you, no one else would ever support you when you fell. The hollow would damn well learn this, and to be utterly fair now seemed to be as a good of a time as any for it to start getting life lessons. Perhaps though it would have been best for them not to have come from this soul reaper though, his views were so damn twisted, passing that one was a terrible idea. He didn't see that. His heart had broken, healing with cracks and infections, he'd been mortally wounded and was simply stealing time. He was not one who should ever teach.
Watching nothing more than a cool disacknowledgement as the hollowfied shell fell away, eyes narrowed slightly as the boy under it was released, gasping before keeling over to curl up. He could see his once friend was in pain, and perhaps he care... Perhaps... Blinking though head snapped to the side, someone was coming, and not just a bunch of grunts. Snorting in irritation he looked up at the wall, stupid thing. With a brief shake of his head he slunk forward, looking an arm around the other boy's waist to lift him. It would frankly be a bother if they were found, now it seemed was as good a time as any to just... leave. The point had pretty much been made now anyway he was sure, if not then oh well, it had been fun whilst it had lasted at any rate. With that he turned on his heels, a flashstep quickly taking he and his cohort away from the place. Frankly he didn't care if the little captain protested, right now there was no damn way he was strong enough to prevent Kusaka doing as he please. He had no choice but to leave the people that could have helped him behind in the dust.
